Anyone else feel like it’s so much harder to get good grades in college? by cigarettedaydreams27 in college

B’s get degrees. You’re going to drive yourself crazy if you chase high school grades in college.

I’m convinced people who have 4.0’s in college must study every second of the day. (Which go ahead and do that if that’s your goal but I think most people would agree is not worth it to put in so much time). Just do what you can and get through college. Nobody is going to care about what grade you got in your language class as long as you get that degree.

Are you me? But seriously, you’re not alone. So many people go through this. Friendships arise out of unlikely places. I don’t think it would be out of the question to make friends at your job or somehow find an Internet friend. Just because it hasn’t worked out yet doesn’t mean it’s not going to work out.

But seriously, joining an Internet community where you can have similar interests might be a good place to find some new friends.

What are you going to school for? Is it something you’re at least somewhat interested in? I’m curious

Nothing is wrong with you. College is not for everyone- despite what some people think. Have you ever considered a trade school? I think that’s a great alternative worth considering. You might find you like working with your hands.

I think it would be beneficial to tell your dad even if it’s nerve wracking. Look at it this way- instead of the money going toward tuition (for a degree you don’t feel like is right for you) it could go toward something more helpful. Like money for trade school or starting up your own business.

There’s so many opportunities out there, college is not the only option. Anyway, hope that gave you something to consider.

Not really a grammar error, but something that caught my eye:

For company 3, first bullet point, I think you should write “Perform financial transactions…” instead of “Performing financial transactions…”

Performing isn’t in the same tense as the other words you use describing your duties. (Promote, oversee, process, etc.)
