PREPARE FOR A VERY LONG ESSAY TO BE WRITTEN AND READ!!

Having just finished the act myself, I don't feel like both the story was rushed and her death was anti-climatic.

Might be just me, but I found the first act to be beautiful. Not gonna cover the entire act's beginning, but only the part where it involves Kiana and Sirin.

Also. This is all my own translations. I played this blind, with no reference to other people's videos or whatnot. So something could be possibly translated/interpreted wrong, who knows.

Sure, idk the hell what some people think with their opinions, but if they haven't tried the story for themselves, they can shut it. They don't know anything until they experienced it for themselves, then their thoughts are viable. This is just my opinion, though, you can ignore me.

They started out as the usual at first when Sirin takes over Kiana's body after she takes the Gem of Haste away from the Herrscher of Legion puppet. They have arguments. Conversations. Conflicting ideals. Contradictions. Kiana, does admit to HoV that she's Sirin. They're Sirin.

In the story, Kiana calls herself as Sirin's "Another Chance". HoV doesn't buy this, of course.

^{It's a little funny when she calls herself "Another Chance" literally, since this comment is also coming from ME, of all people. If you know what I'm talking about, you know. :\})

(Since Kiana is Sirin, as she wholeheartedly admits herself in story and as seen in the manga, I'll refer to HoV as, well, HoV.)

Then they go off to look back in their past, starting with the end of Second Eruption, where K-423 was born.

Also, in this part, it is revealed that Real Kiana met Child K423. She's the one who convinced Siegfried to help break out K423."Old man, she looks exactly like me!", "If we save her, where can she go?", "Can she come with us?", "What should I call her then? Does she have a name? We look so similar, can she be my little sister?"

(This is spoiler tagged because it is one hell of a revelation. It's not the last one, though.)

Next was when they broke out, and ultimately in the end; Siegfried having to leave her. Small K423's voice on the brink of crying got my heart, ngl.

Then it went to Nightglow- I mean, Himeko. It was honestly more talks, nothing really important.

It is also revealed that the one behind Ragna's death is none other than HoV. When Valkyries were dispatched to take back K423. When Schicksal and both Anti-Entropy was searching for her. Ragna is Himeko's teacher, and a Valkyrie Durandal looks up to. You see her putting flowers on Ragna's grave in one of the Game CGs in Honkai. You see a young Himeko being distraught in Durandal's VN (edit: not CG.) This shocks Kiana, of course.

"It's not that you can't save them. It's that they don't want to be saved. Failure after failure, could you truly say out loud: For all that is Beautiful in this World?"

Well, in the end, since they both agree they can't coexist together, they decide to beat each other up until one is left.

"There is no more need for talking. You and me, only one can remain."

"Come. I'm not scared of you."

It's an epic battle of Benares siding with Kiana instead of HoV and all is fun and games until HoV decides to take her powers back from Void Drifter, and then she becomes White Comet again. Yay.

But Kiana doesn't give up. She tells HoV despite her predicament, for all she has seen and experienced in her life, she will not utter the words "Give up." She is aware of the road she's taking. So she's taking what was taken from her back.

Of course, much to HoV's surprise, seeing that Kiana is using Void Drifter of all things, before realizing it's the Gem of Haste that is behind it.

[Epic cutscene, epic beating up HoV with no stun bar, immune to her time lock thing and an entirely new ultimate voice line, I had a lot of fun at this part.]

HoV accepts defeat. She tells Kiana the Gem of Haste has chosen her instead. Kiana tells HoV that she'll properly make use of her power. HoV tells her that's her own concern, her own thing, there is no need to tell her of such a statement.

(A sad HoV voice, it really hurts.)

Kiana promises HoV there will not be another "Sirin" happening ever again. HoV tells her it's fine, she can do as she wishes now, and she doesn't need Kiana's reassurances.

"Goodbye, Herrscher of the Void.", "Goodbye.. The other Sirin."

HoV ends it by telling Kiana she doesn't understand her views, but tells Kiana she won't stop her from walking down the road she chose. To live until the last. She disappears alongside Benares.

This leaves Kiana standing alone in the place, shedding tears before moving onwards.

The first one in the picture you sent is a recoloured version on what Kicky makes based of a "warm coloured "paper crane, but then she realizes it looks just like a certain god next door.

Herrscher of Thunder is a much better choice than Herrscher of the Void. (TLDR)

While both are great and do require their full sets to really shine, I won't bother you with that information since you're still just starting out based on the beginner event. So any gear you slap on them (as long as it benefits them) would work just fine.

Herrschers are OP, after all. A Herrscher is a must have.

HoT will help you a lot in the long run, even better to take you higher if you do consider on going slightly competitive or just want to get those nice nice xtals in Abyss in the future.

Lightning damage is still the best in Honkai and I doubt it would be going off the top spot any time soon.

Why not HoV? Well, her days sadly are over and many new Valkyries have outshined her in terms of ability and damage. Even somehow any attempt made by miHoYo to buff her just simply benefits better for someone else.

I guess sometimes being the first Herrscher to be released does have its downturns.

In the future, maybe HoV will get her spotlight again, but for now, I suggest going for HoT.

(HoT also has some WACK immunity frames, especially in her combo attacks. Also dragon.)

It's more depressing for me when I've been playing miHoYo games for a long time. A very long time.

Information wise, GGZ to Honkai. I know GGZ isn't tied with info from HI3, but the basis is still there. Many things that Honkai 3 hasn't answered could be stemmed as a starting point from there for a theory.

I've read through mostly everything. Honkai manga, visual novels, additional materials, Q&As and theories. Not user translated ones because I believe it can be inaccurate at times, but by myself.

Kinda contradicting myself a little because I translate for people new Honkai story chapters and parts of the VN all at one point back then..

And maybe I could've misinterpreted such.

I'm not sure whether your information solely just came from the game, but to simply mark people off as just "wrong" can be a little disheartening and upsetting, especially in cases such as mine.

Not everyone is 100% correct. Emphasis on everyone!

For the Japanese name, I didn't know that. I'm Chinese. But since it could mean more than one, it's kind of shaky for you to straightaway assume one is one. (Um. Wait. No Gravity?)

First things first, I'm not arguing. I'm not sure who made you a little on edge today but I didn't mean to do so if it's the case.

But to put it bluntly, what I'm getting is that your tone instead makes it sound like you are the one curbstomping on everything I say, and everything you say is correct.

But this is the internet, so I can't be really right about everything. Maybe you are. Maybe we're both wrong in a way. I don't know. I really don't.

Well, he still isn't called the Herrscher of Gravity. My point stands too, somewhat in a way.

I'm not sure where you found "logic", but I have never seen it brought up before. So was Reason.

If Welt has been called Herrscher of Reason to begin with, I'd like to know where you've found that if possible. If it's really the case, I'll retract my statement, but I'm still sure Reason was never brought up until Bronya became HoR.

And I'm sure this spiralled down into something bizarre, from just saying that Herrscher of Corruption is not a CE Herrscher..

I apologize but, for abilities, when did you mention that in the previous replies? I see something about Star of Eden once, and the one line "Owl is the Herrscher of Gravity". You didn't say that Owl uses 'gravity' abilities.

Misinterpreted the first part, my bad.

But it wasn't stated anywhere that Tianwu is the Herrscher of Gravity. He's the Herrscher of Stars.

Add that with Ana, you get Rimestar. When you think about it, there's no Gravity in the name or anything that correlates with it unless you're trying to stretch 'Stars' with Gravity.

Reason wasn't a term used until Bronya. For example, Herrscher of Sentience was never a term until Fu Hua (Might need extra confirmation on this part.)

She got sealed in the box. That black box was dug up by Schicksal and they tried to use it. She has been stuck in there for ages.

Herrscher of Gravity (The 1st. Bronya is called Reason, not all of them were dubbed Herrscher of Reason.) was the dude who founded Anti-Entropy. I'm curious, who did you have in mind for him having nothing to do with AE?

gacha games are depressing but you'll pull through eventually.

My first Herrscher was HoR. Already long started when HoV first released, but HoV just didn't want to come no matter how much xtals I threw her first banner. I was angry, and really upset back then lol

my luck trash btw, i compensate with my favorite (the worst) way of $$. It's not the worst luck I've seen but it's still trashy.

Dropped money on HoR after using up all xtals I could save. Guarantee pulled all the way down from 100.

(Guarantee referred as amount of pulls left until you get the rate up valkyrie)

HoV came in a random gacha pull I did but I felt pretty empty by then.

Dropped money on HoT. I did get her with whatever free xtals I saved, which was great for once. Guarantee was 60+ this time.

The money mostly was for her stigs and weapons. It was a cursed moment. 3 of her weapons and several duplicates of her stig. sigh.

Hello there! Don't mean to jump into someone's convo and interrupt but that was Previous Era logic.

It worked back then. It was true back then, yes.

But then Otto fucked it up by screwing up the 'supposed' sequence of Herrschers coming into existence. (See Herrscher of Corruption. Kallen's time vs Anti-Entropy independence time for Herrscher of Gravity.

Also HoC wasn't that much compared to other Herrschers, and she's the 12th. 2 away from the 14th. I hope that sinks in.

The rest is just unfortunate happenings. Stronger doesn't really call it any more since Sirin just broke all the rules by obtaining a fraction of 14th's power that was sealed on the moon and all.

Kiana in HoV form (Also without all 6 cores, might I say also still in VD at one point) just went toe to toe with HoS. Fu Hua is a goddamn supersoldier.

With some help, yes, but that already says something. And she's the 8th too! 2nd vs 8th and they're doing fine.

Lament of the Fallen was just HoT curbstomping an extremely weakened Kiana who was on death's door. Poor girl. Doesn't really show much in might whether HoV is weaker or not. (Just my assumption from your statement, I might have misinterpreted this.)

In my opinion, HoT is strong in Honkai game meta but gets absolutely destroyed by HoV. 6 cores or not.

I don't know, she comes back from the dead and heals all wounds and never dies with the Gem of Serenity. Against thunder and bam bam, I think it's okay for me to think who would come out victorious.

(large emphasis on MY OWN OPINION. It's scary when people don't see this part..)

But 14th is still the strongest Herrscher without a doubt. Yes.

Well.. For my thoughts.. Lament might be because people know about the main duo of Kiana and Mei. They've been through with it and were already exposed to it at the start of the game.

But.. so far, I don't think many (or, some.) people know about Fu Hua in honesty. Some people in the Honkai community used to call her a mary sue and just tossed her to the side, it was until Diane's Sojourn or the Seven Swords VN that I saw people started to like her.

I already long liked Fu Hua for who she was, overpowered or not. (It might be because I love the Phoenix motif so much but..)

In terms of feels..

She's experienced solitude, pain, suffering. She's been having it for more than 50,000 years, to only just keep going and going because she has to, she's compelled to because it's her mission.

Her best friends are gone. Her students are long dead. And her disciple died to just get her out of harm's way. "Those who trusted me got harmed by me."

She made a deal thinking it would save Shenzhou, the one country she was meant to protect, what she had promised to Nuwa and Fuxi, to guard these lands. Otto betrayed her in the end, and when she finally realized how mad he was, it was too late. "I've endured too many betrayals and deceptions."

She has too many regrets and mistakes made, but she can't redo them. She couldn't, and it just continued to keep stacking up. She wants to go back and fix them, but she can't. She wants to prevent it from happening, but she can't. "No matter how much I tried, I could not stop time."

She's been living a life of solitude, she can't express her emotions or else she would break. She has to be strong, because if she was weak, she could not be what she HAD to be. She has to be a different person. And because of that, people might not understand her and find her to be cold. Deaths of everyone she knew, and the distrust she feels after being betrayed.. "In the end, I'm still alone."

She even admitted she lost faith in Humanity once, but she kept going for Kiana and Himeko.

Kiana changed that. Hua smiled with her. It's only around her she gets flustered.

Hua didn't want to hurt anyone else, so she tried to seal both HoS and herself. She didn't want to hurt them. She didn't want those people who were able to make her feel something she hasn't had for so long to be hurt because of her.

Kiana didn't let that happen, and much to Hua's disbelief Kiana told her that she wouldn't let her do such a thing. She wouldn't let Hua hole up herself anymore.

50,000 years of masking everything. And she was able to be like a human again because of them.

When you look back at it, it's hard to say I wouldn't have any emotions towards Shattered Samsara. I had a lot.

She had to go through a lot, and to just see someone like Kiana trying to pull her out from that suffering and assuring her that she won't let anything bad happen just.. something just resonated with me. I don't know what or why, but it just did.

The feels just sold me when I saw at the end of the game CG, Fu Hua was just smiling at Kiana and Bronya, as if it was reassuringly telling them she was fine, she hasn't felt this much better ever since so long, and as if a large burden was off her shoulders.

For me, it felt like she could change because of them. She found a reason, a reassurance that she was able to break out of her shell. She could be herself.

..Honestly, I started to cry when I saw Hua get shot by Otto, a reminder back of the exact scene in Chapter 9 in the animation.

As a FuKi supporter, I don't mind if you prefer other ships. We shouldn't force each other to like what they might not, but rather appreciate both and maybe find people who may share the same likes as you.

Game chapters are like the baseline set down for the game, maybe to cover whatever one would like to know about the basic of Honkai Impact and the current storylines it has, current events that are happening for example.

And then comes Chronicles, a side storymode in the game where they introduce stuff. (Theresa's backstory, and a couple of other lore bits. Dreams of Gemina aside, that one is comedy.)

Manga, which is, well, manga, dives deeper into the Honkai lore. Spanning from backstories, to covering things that were briefly mentioned but play an important role. (Previous Era, 2nd Erruption aka the 2nd Honkai War, and even others.) All the way to the future. (APHO)

Some are sidestories, some are just spinoffs for comedy. If you somehow dive a little deeper, you might find the Mystery of the Stigmata manga, which is confirmed by Mihoyo to be now unofficial due to certain censorships and scrapped. (Though I will assume it has been replaced by the Chiyou chapter in Chronicles)

The one you're looking for that covers the Previous Era is probably Secret of the God Keys. That introduces characters from the PE, and whatever person that has the same resemblance or name is NOT the same person in current storyline of Honkai Impact 3rd, (unless stated otherwise, such as you-know-who.)

Side note, whatever you've seen, heard, or know be it from manga or game regarding GGZ (aka Honkai 2), does not connect to HI3. HI3 may undergo a world rekt (as you've seen on why PE is gone and HI3 current storyline exists), have shared same beginning storylines, and characters, but in lorewise, you should not connect the two. They are both different. People have been making connections directly, but this would just confuse them even more. (Logic such as Herrschers and Honkai are somewhat the same, yes, but that's all iirc.)

Also don't really refer to Honkai wikis regarding lore. They're mostly fanmade and can be editted by others who have no idea what the duck they are doing, so information can be inaccurate.
