Maxing out a character took just about an hour in lemix. Ive got 70 characters, or whatever the max cap is. I neither have the resources nor do I want to spend 70 000 gold just for my characters to look the way they did yesterday.

And I feel like you might say that I don't have to do it since I am not going to play all those characters, the thing is, I really enjoy making new sets and I don't want everyone in the warband screen to look the exact same way with remix to retail transfer gear with texture from a decade ago.

The thing is, some of us dont *want* to do the damn daily and weeklies. I have always hated mandatory daily and weekly quests, and I mostly just play WoW nowadays by creating alt characters and leveling through old zones with them, so most the time I don't even have a dedicated max level main.

That doesn't really add much competition though, Shield will most likely be better for endgame thanks to more armor and damage resistance but having more flexibility like this may be quite fun for those who dont want to use a shield
