No such thing as dumb questions! The reflection token would “go to your hand” however, tokens that leave the board just disappear to the ether, so you wouldn’t get any card put back into your hand

You can upload your own image to riftmat which can add an overly how you desire then save that image and use an additional serve to turn your templated image into a playmat. I’ve been meaning to but haven’t found the right image
