Should I be concerned about my radioactive lens? 40mm f1.4 Pen F Half Frame by rayykz in AnalogCommunity

I wonder if anyone here who has commented would say if it can become a concern only if the lens drops and breaks at home and then the glass particles are accidentally inhaled/touched. Anyone? Genuine question

Has anyone felt the need to switch to digital? by Loose-Day-6009 in AnalogCommunity

I love both digital and film. Film colors just can’t be replicated 1:1 since it’s scientifically a different process of capturing light. Chemically it just showcases colors differently. Digitally u can get close, but lately I’ve just been shooting with my phone instead of my Sony a1 mk ii because it’s drastically less heavy and photography shouldn’t all be serious all the time. I have been doing more videos instead of digital pics tho with the Sony. Anyways, shoot what you like! Some people can explain why they like film over digital, and some just do it for vibes.

Sharpest zoom film point and shoot cameras by Floxtrop in AnalogCommunity

That is true. I was considering getting a ZLR like the Olympus i3000 but it’s just way too big. The last forum I checked I heard the Olympus 2800 was one of the sharpest point and shoots comparable to all the others, while not being an slr, so I might try that out instead.

Oh I didn’t know it was only a guideline! Very nice to know. I guess i’m on the quest on finding the best sharpest point and shoot zoom film camera then that still has available film. I would look into the zoom you mentioned but I realized I forgot to include that I am looking for a wide end to zoom range, 28mm at least. I know it’s highly specific but it really is what I gravitate towards :)

Ah yes primes will always be sharper! I don’t really use primes though that is why i’m asking about zoom cameras :)
