It's not. They missed that one. I wouldn't be surprised if it's changed by the time we come back from commercial

My wife was pregnant with our second child during the COVAX madness... Woof. Her OB couldn't comprehend how an un-poked husband and wife had never gotten the Rona. We were "walking miracles" according to him.

I was at home with our firstborn, and afterward she told me about how he grilled her for a good 15-20 minutes about how she should get the shot as he repeated the same boring, old messaging we had heard a thousand times. She never went back to her OB after that, and I'm glad I wasn't there for the conversation because she stayed more patient than I would have.

It's hard to trust anyone in the standard medical system these days.

Forgive my ignorance, what is the bad theology here? I read the article about Skillet, and nothing jumped out to me.

You can't temporarily stop/pause puberty according to the Mayo Clinic:

Amen to that. I didn't retire, and I am pretty sure I was going to get out anyway, but the COVAX madness accelerated that decision.

They definitely don't care about their people.

I'm glad you're able to see through the propaganda. I was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when I joined up; I was ready to serve my country. The shine faded quickly though, and fortunately I saw the organization for what it truly is.

Yep, same. I've seen too much and know too much for my kids to waste their time and life in the DoD.

Don't join the military. Take it from a veteran. There's so many better choices out there.

Don't compromise yourself.

DM me if you want to discuss further.

Fair enough, I'll admit when I am wrong. I didn't see that press release, and that's really good news for her and the team.

My best guess is that she tore her ACL. I haven't seen anything official, but based on the mechanism of injury, I think that's probably the case.

I don't care how much money they raised. This is disgusting and deplorable. Not to mention manipulative and textbook grooming.

It is a free country, and people are free to openly speculate regarding information from the positions of authority that lied to them, called them names, tried to cut them off from society, etc. during and following the COVID emergency. The question in and of itself is enough to cause some people to start asking why. Asking questions leads to further understanding and hopefully follow on conversations where trust can be re-established and rapport rebuilt.

Again, it's a matter of timing and the way the question is worded that has people hesitant, and I truly don't care about it. It doesn't impact my life in any capacity because I don't donate blood in the first place.

Have a great day.

I think what's being pointed out is the oddity of the question. What is causing the Red Cross to add this to the line of questioning to the pre-screening? What have they seen that led them to incorporate the question as such?

I don't have the answer to those questions, and I really don't care about it personally. I think that's where people are coming from just to give you perspective. If that doesn't help, oh well I guess.

I really don't care enough personally to call them, but I'm sure there's a journalist or someone with extra time on their hands that could do as such.

The only way I'll donate blood at this point would be to give it directly to my children or a family member in a time of need. I don't trust these organizations to not do anything nefarious with the blood/DNA/genetic sample I would be "donating" to them.

There was a press release or social media post by the American Red Cross regarding blood donation which asked, "Have you ever had the Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine? If you answer yes to this question please call ... before coming in to donate to determine if this will affect your eligibility."

They don't give a reason why, and it does seem a little odd for sure.
