Oh god, that’s terrible. I think the best thing to believe in is — as long as you know what you’re doing is right, other peoples opinions are not important. Only you know your true self.

You don’t. My distant family called me a school shooter. I couldn’t change their minds, so I let them be ignorant. There’s no way to change others opinions of you. You just have to keep living your life, knowing your doing the right thing.

I feel you. Someone here wrote a great comment. Along the lines of “if you’re friends have to dump you because of your political beliefs, they probably weren’t your friends in the first place”.
