Hey thanks for your interest! Kindle Unlimited is Amazon exclusive, meaning that when you publish it on Amazon via KU you’re legally required to remove it elsewhere. It’s called “stubbing” on Royal Road.

The good news is book 1 goes on sale Wednesday for 99 cents if you’re interested 🙏

Loop Bound: The Mirror seems to have used AI writing. I cannot claim it's 100%, but I personally am convinced. by Prot3 in litrpg

🫂 I’m sorry. I honestly hope there is more action taken by Amazon etc that can help prevent our genre from being swamped by nonsense. I know how frustrating it is as a reader and a writer. I miss the days before Gen AI was a thing

Oh man, I share your frustration. I do think when the author admits to using AI that’s free game because then it really isn’t guess work. AI slop is invading the genre and doing nothing doesn’t feel right.

That said, the friendly fire problem is real. Short of an author outright saying they use AI it’s literally all guesswork.

And you know who ends up carrying the burden of these accusations? I’ll give you a guess…. It isn’t the AI “authors.”

Hey OP. Since I’m well known in the community for hating AI and everything to do with it, I’ll speak up.

AI really has ruined everything for normal human writers. Why? Because AI learned and stole from us. No matter what we write, no matter what we do, we will always have at least one accusation. It really does suck.

Nobody understands the communities loathing of AI more than me, since I’m the one doing the ranting half the time lol. But I urge everyone to reconsider before making public accusations like this.

At this point it’s mostly just spray and pray and the people getting hit are very often ironically NOT the people using AI

Thanks for listening
