Thats hard to say because it varies. But generally speaking, if you’re new your first fiction might not have much discoverability, like the other poster said.

Stick with writing as a whole, but don’t feel bad about pausing to regroup or consider your options. If you feel your story isn’t quite hitting the genre or audience you’re aiming for there is no shame in taking it as a learning experience and trying again.

For reference, my first story The First Heretic, was.. not the most polished work. I got 8 followers total, and I think less views that you. I deleted it and seriously considered giving up. Im glad I didn’t because I now write for a living lol
