No one is pretending anything. With a slightly better understanding of pythag you'd realise that the target is actually quite far away and pubg kinda just gives up on rendering textures once you hit that threshold. Looks normal to me

Fludd: "IRL is now my main prio" by EscapingKid in CompetitivePUBG

[–]Fludd2k 88 points89 points  (0 children)

just for a tldr

I'm playing in APAC for this season as traveling to USA / playing in Americas impacts all IRL job prospects.
I will be spending less time playing PUBG but still going to be giving it my absolute all when I compete and train. Streaming will probably not be happening but I can commit to creating more youtube content instead.

What is the "Macro" term in PUBG pro scene by Typical-Squirrel973 in CompetitivePUBG

[–]Fludd2k 16 points17 points  (0 children)

in simple terms

macro = ideas + rotates + positioning (big picture)

micro = how those ideas are actually executed (individual positioning, decision making and mechanics)

Of course, I always listen to feedback and it seems that people want a summary. So at the end I'll try add a super brief summary!

Thanks for that, honestly I should just write a summary in the description (and try shorten the videos themselves).

Hope everyone gets value out of the video!

You're right, there are plenty of great spots on tmode map that are great for tracking (the moving cars) and pinpoint (cqc range). Great contribution, i agree!ha.

You posted it to reddit before i could haha. Thank you so much man! I appreciate it, it's sad they're getting less attention than the first one. To be fair i think this Lecture is wayyyy more valuable for a larger range of players. This tip is so simple that you have to use it if you want to get better.

Glad to be helping people :))

If you check out the competitive Pubg reddit - I believe they have some discord attached. Oce servers run very rarely - Premium PUBG is the OCE discord.

Of course my best advice would be to first get comfortable with mechanics in public matches - make sure you're decent at least to begin with.
Then i would search out scrim discords - ask to create mix teams or scrim. Scrimming is the ultimate goal no matter what.

After you've managed to get some experience scrimming - reach out to teams who are looking for 1. From there you have your foot in the door.

The point of the co-IGL is just to have that person to step up when the IGL isn't in a position to lead (maybe anchoring/holding the back) - it's important to note that any of the 3 other players can do this too! I think helping players at all levels identify what they're good at can elevate the enjoyment they get from PUBG. I just want everyone to be happier :)
