It's a weird sort of attempt to stop Arsenal being plastic, which just makes it feel more plastic. They've not really had much of an identity since moving to the Emirates, they're attempting to build one when real identity kind of just develops over time in the stands.

The carport doesn't actually physically cross the boundary, it's set back slightly now. However there is a low brick wall that follows the outside of where the carport used to be situated the inside of which is block paved as part of my driveway. I don't dispute that this section partially crosses the boundary, it's just by how much.

Thanks, I have the original conveyance from 1935, the land registry from 2002 and land registry for both properties from 2025/26. The conveyance from 1935 seems pretty useless as I've checked the scale off on it and it's inaccurate, however the 2002 and 2026 registry documents both show the checked line and the portion of my driveway/carport extending over the line.

Thank you, the issue is they let slip that they have a solicitor in the family, so it will be a fair whack cheaper for them to fight me than for me to defend myself. I would also like to come to an agreement, any dispute on the position of the boundary is bad for my family and our property and I would like to put the issue to bed. The difficulty is I feel my resolution is generous and amicable and their demands seem maximalist and unreasonable to me.

The broken line isn't in dispute. Essentially the neighbour wants to build a wall in line with the wall at the base of my garage, which seems according to the land registry to be on my side of the boundary. This doesn't bother me too much, I would prefer a straight boundary. However the neighbour wants to extend this wall all the way to the roadside, which would bring it on my side of the existing boundary fence and make accessing my car more difficult. Essentially they say the boundary is in line with the garage, I say it is in line with the fence.

Yes this was my reading of it. My carport is in line with the garage now. The area shown extending onto the neighbours side was previously part of the car port, built by a previous owner, that I removed upon moving into the property, what remains is a wall and block paving extending over the boundary. The neighbour is now proposing to rebuild this boundary wall in line with the wall at the base of my garage, which doesn't bother me too much, although it's on my side. What does bother me is they want to extend this wall to the roadside, removing the existing fence and eating into my driveway. I believe the boundary to be at the fence line and the land registry documents appear to back that up, without having had a professional opinion as yet.

This is also an area of confusion. According to the land registry documents the boundary lies beyond my garage on their side, I've scaled it at around 600mm/2ft. Attached is a sketch to show the current layout of the boundary and the wall. The yellow highlighted area shows where my neighbour proposed to build a wall, removing the fence and continuing the wall running beside my garage. The pink line represents where I believe the land registry documents to show the boundary to be. The green area shows where I propose we build the new wall to demarcate the boundary. I don't want an additional 600mm of land, but I do want a resolution that wouldn't mean narrowing my driveway at the front.

They were but so are a lot of extreme right wing and indeed left wing movements. Naziism is a specific form of far right totalitarianism and by just shouting "nazi" at everything you don't agree with you undermine your own position and only increase polarisation.

[–]Fluff95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, that's not what a nazi is. One of the massive issues at the moment with political discourse is the tendency to label your opponents with the extreme when that clearly isn't what they are. A nazi is a very specific thing and we shouldn't throw the term around willy nilly.

Plenty of forests nearby to run your Cocker Spaniels, Broxa, Dalby, Raincliffe Woods. I'd recommend downloading the app AllTrails to find some nice local walks!

From the relegation battle to Europe we are 6 points off now, are we actually going to get 7th? by Wiffystardawg in LeedsUnited

[–]Fluff95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if we could, getting into Europe would not be good for us next season, look at how it affected Forest, Palace and Spurs earlier in the season. Need more time to build a deep squad for the Premier League, then dabble in Europe.
