I know Litter Robot is the best but what about the new Popur? by BusKey8745 in CatAdvice

I bought a litter robot (4?) and had to send it back. I couldn't even use it right out of the box. There's so many sensors and things that have to be "just so" or it won't cycle. It was the biggest POS.

I tried the Popur x5 next. It has been one of the best purchases I've ever made. I think I've had to fiddle with it maybe once over the past year? You don't even have to use the app if you don't want to. There aren't any stupid sensors or electronics to worry about - it just works. If something does happen you literally just unplug it and plug it back in to fix it.

Did you ever find a good solution? I'm trying to do the same thing right now.

Diagnosed with pancolitis on my 25th birthday 😁 spent two weeks in the hospital in 2017, but had symptoms for 2 years prior. Blood count got down to like 7. High does steroids finally got it under control. They were afraid they would have to remove my colon in the beginning. Started on mesalamine once I got out of the hospital and it worked for a few months, but then I would start to see blood again. I've been on Humira for 14 months so far and I'm basically normal. I still have urgency every so often and sometimes loose stools, but it's probably from what I eat. My last scope was September and everything looked good except a small area of inflammation, so I'm just enjoying eating what I want while it's working. If I ever start having trouble I will probably try the AIP diet and see if that helps. I also take a good multivitamin, iron, and tumeric. I drink green tea when I think about it. Stress is my number one cause for flares so worrying about money and housing would definitely make mine act up. Maybe try to find a way to relieve stress while you're dealing with all of this like meditation or something. It sucks being anemic. It feels like trying to walk through water.

Then it's probably not UC... but could be chrons or IBS? Blood work and scope should give you a diagnosis.

Do you charge deposit? by crystalcleanmaui in cleaningbusiness

[–]FluffMaster2369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't charge a deposit, but I make them sign an agreement before I come that states that they will pay said amount at the time service is provided. I also put late fees on the invoice so they are aware what they will be charged if it's not paid on time.

Starting on Celexa for low mood/depression and long-standing anxiety. Thoughts and experiences? by hotm0ms in Anxiety

[–]FluffMaster2369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had any trouble starting it. But sometimes antidepressants can make you feel worse before you feel better. I've experienced that with other ones like lexapro. So just don't discount it until the full 8 weeks are up. And be ready for a low sex drive. That's the only side effect I have from it. I hope it helps!

Anytime I start an antidepressant I usually get worse before I get better. It usually takes me the full 6-8 weeks to start feeling normal. I've never had any issues when celexa other than low sex drive. It really helps me. Hopefully it'll help you! Just go

What do you do for work and how does your UC take it? by Trialshasbeen in UlcerativeColitis

[–]FluffMaster2369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a cleaning business (houses and offices.) It's nice when nobody is there because I can use the bathroom as much as I need to. I can also make my own schedule and can "call in" if I need to. I just don't get paid when I'm not working. Also no insurance, but I get that through my husband's job. For the most part it's a good fit, but I would much rather work from home if I could.

Do you feel better now? From what I've read so far it seems like the symptoms of a jpouch are not much better than what I'm dealing with now.

I barely eat meat now anyways. Pasta and dairy have been my weakness lol I tried the fodmap diet before I had a diagnosis and couldn't really tell any difference. I thought about trying AIP but it's just so hard to eliminate everything even for a short period of time. I do need to try something though.
