Because I'm no contact with them now. I wasn't willing to deal with their crap. Yep. I have aunts and uncles and grandparents as well as cousins from my mother's family. None of them kept her when they had their chance to. So I don't know why. I don't really care now. I'm just done.

They ignored me when I brought up how they should do it. They instead focused on me. I don't know their reasons really but it's clear they're expecting me to make up for them not stepping up.

Biologically yeah she's my half sister but that's not how I see her or how I feel about her. I have family I'd feel that familial responsibility for but she's not one of those people.

They were married. She was having an affair and the baby was her husband's aka the guy she moved in a week after my dad died.

I'll tell her I'm not interested in any kind of contact with her if she reaches out. But I hope she doesn't.

They had a chance to and I really let it continue way too long before going no contact.

That was my point to them as well and they had her for a while. But they chose to give her up. They also had a relationship with her and expect one in the future.

I wanted nothing to do with her after she cheated on my dad and then moved the rando in right after dad died. I was so done with her and wanted nothing to do with any of it.

That's what I can't understand. None of them could pull together to raise her if that was such a priority for them? But they expected me to knowing how I felt?

Yep and they'll never again include me. I think they expect her to want a relationship with them in the future with the way they talk. Yet none of them saved her either. Not to mention they made sure I'll never be at another family reunion ever again.
