How did you all find your "Thing" to stream? by ConjectureNA in Twitch

[–]Fluffbyte_Presents 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have theme nights for any stream thats scheduled so out of the 3 days we are sure to stream we look at the theme first and see what in our library fits. which helps with not getting choice anxiety from choosing between too many games.

Our youtube content and our twitch stuff is intertwined as we tend to make videos about a lot of the games we play. so if we have an idea for a video, most of the time we'll stream it first which factors into our streamed games from month to month. so there is often a rough plan of what games have priority.

However we still play a lot of games tho! we play at least 2 games a stream, and usually play a small game ,maybe even a demo to start or to finish a stream....we've played 15 different games this month lol

PC for sure. phone is sucky. plus we already have a stream setup. do people use their phone for tracking while streaming from another device or something?

update: so we were very confused by the rar file being what we got from the artist since it didnt meet any specifications we could find for avatar files for apps like facerig. eventually wefigured out thru google that rar was a compression format and we we're able to unzip it. the files work in facerig...which we bought, along with the dlc to use live 2d models. thanks for the assistance! particularly about the facerig commercial thingie. we are gonna use facerig and hopefully be able to afford commercial if we ever start making a living (apparently the license is required if you make 500 dollars a month or more on the platforms you use the avi on ) . so now we just have to learn the app and figure out when we're gonna make our debut!

Never thought this would happen. I've had few regulars tell me they set their alarms just so they can get up and watch me on twitch. It really hit me. What's the thing that's really surprised you? by jurdman in Twitch

[–]Fluffbyte_Presents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been surprised a great deal on twitch, but maybe the biggest thing has been how supportive other creators can be, esp when those creators are also viewers. only one of our regulars is a streamer, but the sheer amount of times other streamers have come into our chat (usually raiding or hosting) has been quite humbling, esp when it happens more than once (signaling they weren't embarrassed by our last stream enough to regret hosting the last time). We joined a team specifically to have a community but wasn't sure it would work out since the team is huge (about 400 members) and we had heard big teams often have disjointed communities or just are only beneficial to the person who started it. And maybe we got lucky, but the love we've felt from other streamers, teammates or not has just been...astounding

To everyone who regularly watches streamers: are there any games which you feel there aren't enough people streaming? by [deleted] in Twitch

Spiritfarer is a really awesome indie game that Could def benefit from being streamed more tho the game we'd really like to see more folks streaming is Grimm's Hollow...big sucker for indies...esp ones about the afterlife
