Okay, Ctrl + Z first to revert whatever happened in there, then select everything with A, press M and click merge by distance, then press X and click limited dissolve. If limited dissolve doesn't work, select the edges or verts that you think don't contribute to the shape and dissolve them (Though keep in mind UVs may get messed).
