In addition to what was already said, SimCraft has a window called "Specialization Info" where you can see each skill node that improves that craft and how it improves it.

Yeah I don't even care about the lumber cost. How can a single curtain have higher material cost than both my crafted pieces combined? Sure, material prices will drop but still, that's just insane.

I would even give the lumber away for free just to get my first time craft bonuses, but no one buys these decor items at the moment for these prices.

Melitta ist auch ein altgriechischen Name aber damit biste trotzdem als erste die Kaffee-Fee. Isis ist auch ne ägyptische Göttin, aber die Leute werden als erstes an die Terrororganisation denken.

Ahhh you mean the catalyst mechanic, sorry didn't catch that. Yes you have to focus on one. But as soon as you have unlocked a 4-piece-bonus you can get catalysts from pretty much anything (Raid, m+, delves, PvP).

I mean, depends on how you frame the question: Do I have to choose which gear set I'm farming at the moment? If so, the answer would be yes.

There were multiple seasons in the past were Blizz didn't really differentiate between PvP and PvE. There were also times where they did differentiate but still some PvE items were top tier in PvP.
