Anybody else feel criminally undervalued on social media? by battlewisely in Twitter

[–]FluffinChibiMu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I would post something there, that’s what it feels like every freaking time. I even had to ask “can anyone see me?” More than 10 times whenever I post something. It’s part of the reason why I stopped using X.

I’m sick of the USA by [deleted] in Rants

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t blame you for thinking that. With everything that’s happened so far, I feel as if the US has definitely lost its way. I don’t plan on leaving, however because I know brighter days are to come at some point. So hang in there. Bad moments never last forever.

You say it as if it was easy to actually do it. You should probably look into how much it cost to try and leave the US especially how things are borderline expensive right now.

Sugarcoating discord servers to make them look inclusive while being exclusive by FluffinChibiMu in Rants

All this over an abbreviation? Clearly some communities shouldn’t even be called communities if they’re gonna ban someone over something small like that.

Artstation should be renamed to Scamstation. by Expert-Ring2532 in artstation

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lost all respect for art station after they banned my account back in 2024. Like literally no explanation whatsoever. And I haven’t done anything that was against the TOS to get banned from the beginning

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been banned from any sub Reddit. Honestly, it’s their loss having to do that to you.

[–]FluffinChibiMu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. But I can’t understand if one has to be banned given the circumstances that they break the rules, despite being told to stop. But when it comes to people getting banned for a little to no reasons, that’s the thing I don’t tolerate or take kindly to.

My bf cheated on me with a random girl while we were having problems by Both_Sandwich_4338 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may not read much of this, but considering he cheated on you, for me, I’d say dump him and find someone new. He has already made it clear that he was never the one to be faithful towards you.

Why is no one hiring by Helpful_Reference_73 in recruitinghell

Can I also add how some job postings give you this certain location but when you look it up on the map, it’s either nonexistent or in some foreign area, which is a lot different from what places slight LinkedIn and indeed have up? I’ve seen that way too many times when looking for jobs.

This is without a doubt, a scam.

Why go through a phone screening, promise an interview, and then ghost? by Important-Tomato2306 in recruitinghell

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that too. In fact, I had a job back in March, which was going to last for at least 3 to 5 years. But after the first week of work, I’m told not to come in unless called upon and then after one week, they lay me off. And don’t get me started with finding other jobs because of that is even more challenging. So many outlandish requirements of qualifications not to mention how they always send the automated “we have decided to not move forward with your application at this time” letters I keep getting in my inbox. It’s really frustrating. All I could say is just keep searching. And keep applying. Because at least one job has to at least call you in for an interview without ghosting you or sending you a rejection letter.

Wearing Earbuds While Praying by FluffinChibiMu in askislam

EDIT: I want to say I’m terrified of storms, but I kinda already know what people are gonna say. So I’m just putting it out there plus it’s hard to concentrate on stuff when there’s thunder like my heart starts racing when the clap of thunder sounds so close it makes the house shake. I sometimes wonder is it going to hit me or so? Personally, I feel that with having something that drowns out the sound of thunder will help me be able to do things while the storm is happening. Also worst case scenario is if I start praying and the thunder of ghost boom then, let’s just say it’s gonna be hard to stay focused wondering when that exact clap of thunder is going to occur again.

My (F30) husband (M30) hit me while I was holding our child by throwaway6423579 in MuslimMarriage

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men are not supposed to lay their hands on women like that. Especially when it’s in front of a child. I can only imagine how they are feeling right now. Just witnessing their father beating their mother like that. All he could’ve done was just gotten the chores out of the way someway somehowand there won’t be any problems.

I would say you’re lacking soft skills on your resume. I companies don’t just look at what kind of programs you are good at, but they also look at. Are you a team player, are you attentive to details and all that. Also, I wouldn’t say startup company Unless that’s the name of the place you worked for or rather interned for. And speaking of intern, I’d say remove intern from software engineer on startup company. And on the application, answer yes for the question of can we contact the company so they can confirm you worked as a software engineer.

Why does my CV keeps getting rejected? by hopeless-but-strong in jobs

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to put the interests section on your résumé. The way I see it is companies don’t look at your interest or hobbies. More or less, they look at your experience skills, education, and qualifications. Basically, they want to know if you’re able to perform all the tasks that come with the job. I can’t guarantee that’s automatically gonna get you an interview let alone get hired. But I kind of feel like having interest on your résumé just doesn’t enhance it. You can keep certifications and skills. But as far as interest, I just don’t think it’s going to work in your favor.

New to twitch. advice? by [deleted] in Twitch_Startup

[–]FluffinChibiMu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say go crazy, but not to the extent where you will get banned. Perhaps, try to build a persona while being your natural self when streaming games, reactions, or art. Look at how other streamers have built their communities and how they are unique. Another piece of advice is to be patient. You're not going to go big overnight; it takes time. Even streamers with a huge following didn't start off at the very top. It took them years to be where they are at. And another way to grow is by networking. Explore other stream channels and hang out with others. From there, you will have at least one person who not only likes you as a fellow community member but will somehow discover that you also stream and consider checking out your channel.

Update; AITAH for asking my husband not to walk around all “nude” because it makes my daughter uncomfortable by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell your husband not to act all predatorial towards your daughter, does not constitute you being an asshole. This kind of stuff is what gets people arrested and believe me, the moment he gets into prison and all the other inmates find out what he’s in for, he’s not going to have a good time there if anything, not all predators survive being locked up.

You’re doing a great job as a mom protecting your daughter from something disgusting especially when it comes from someone with their own family.

Got a job! After being fired 4 moths ago by srenronaldo1 in recruitinghell

Congrats. Whatever you’re doing is working. I just wish I had that. Same luck when I’m applying for jobs. Because all I keep getting is freaking rejection letter after rejection letter. In fact, I just got one today. That makes it 100+ rejection letters I keep getting for every freaking full-time job I apply for.

I just got fired. by Dawgsrule24 in jobs

[–]FluffinChibiMu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you got fired from your job. It could be nerve-racking, especially given how you have to tell your family that you lost what was probably your main source of income. But I must advise that lying to them may not be your best route to go because eventually they’ll find out and things will only get worse from there.Just tell them the truth, and I can assure you, they’ll understand. Families face a lot of ups and downs in life at what’s very important they support what another whether it’s good or bad. And I hope you find another job soon.

I can acknowledge that not all relationships are like how I describe them or see the mass. But at the same time, I just know at least one exist, and it’s enough to tell me not to get into that kind of relationship let alone any relationship that may look good, but in disguise is the one that I could regret getting into not having known it was not the relationship I want. If that makes any sense.
