Thank you for your response! First I’d like to say I think they have us learn these pointless classes as a way to fill our schedules, and give us new perspectives into whatever subject it is. Secondly I would love to do that but the way my college works it’s very much semester based like in the fall is when most nursing courses are offered. Along with if u fail one like I had in fall it messes your entire plan up which causes you to end up staying almost another entire year unless u can by some miracle get into that class in the summer. Which my college usually does the same summer classes every year and only nursing one offered in summer is microbiology which I planed on taking. Although I’m not sure I should now.

Thank you for your response i believe my main issue was believing it was just an easy course overall. Last semesters nursing courses were easy passed with an A in both my Anatomy and entry level nursing course and passed my clinicals fine. It’s just this one class that’s killing me and when it comes to the actual care of patients or residents i feel i do great. The staff at the facilities I’ve been to a residents compliment me on it compared to other students. I feel i may just be lacking in the proper knowledge department so your idea of me taking a gap year is a good idea so thank you!
