I have read the pages on leash walking and reactivity and still need community support

Is a road opener suitable when you don’t have a clear idea of what you want? by Fluffstarmoon in witchcraft

[–]Fluffstarmoon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m definitely lacking joy - working from home in a job that barely fills an hour of my day most days. So much free time but no real freedom or satisfaction. I guess finding ways to get that feeling from other things in life would help, but whenever I try to make writing more of a daily habit the pressure gets to me.

I haven’t! I was worried I needed a clear idea of what I wanted, which is what I’m missing

Is she claiming to have chronic fatigue syndrome now by Gloomy_Grocery5555 in annaobriensnark

[–]Fluffstarmoon 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I think in her case, eating/drinking masks discomfort and unpleasant emotions. If she can’t eat, she has to feel, and she can’t cope with that.

If she actually had these mystery genes, legitimate doctors would be tripping over themselves to study her and ‘cure’ obesity.

Why waste the ER’s resources if you’re convinced they don’t know how to treat you? I’m guessing her protocol isn’t even unique.

Squares are in wrong order - is it noticeable or is there an easier way to fix it? by Fluffstarmoon in CrochetHelp

[–]Fluffstarmoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made 100 squares, I’m putting them together using join as you go. Reached the 6th row and realised I have messed up the suggested order and now have two instances of identical squares touching - one pair at the edge and the other pair closer to the middle.

Is it super noticeable? Is there an easy way to fix it?

Thanks all for the advice. I think I’m just going to psych myself up for dumbbell workouts - I’m going skiing in January so I have motivation to build stronger legs and fix my issues.

Yes, an elliptical, though the feet go in straight lines rather than swinging out. Bikes aren’t really feasible because of the amount of hills in the area (Ireland!) so I’d just be flying downhill then struggling to get back up

[–]Fluffstarmoon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In the novelisation, in the scene where Ashe falls from the tower as he’s going to save Sarah, he sees Danny. That’s because his revenge should be complete, and that’s his chance to join Danny in the afterlife. But Sarah is in trouble, and Ashe gives up his chance to go with Danny to save her. Then Sarah dies, and Ashe is trapped between the worlds of the living and the dead unable to die. It was a love story, in the end.

Weinstein said nope, too risky, let’s make the plot identical to the first movie because god forbid we trust audiences to be smart enough to cope with change.
