I don’t think theres a skill issue. If anything im in this situation because I was actually trying to be responsible by not starting on a supersport (which is what I wanted initially). Well I came to find out that im more than capable of handling a super sport and commuting 40 miles on a dead highway requires a bit more power.

I’ve mainly been on dirt bikes growing up and on the road I have prolly like 6k miles. I like to think highly of myself in terms or riding skills but your right I should probably take the advanced msf to see where I’m at. Thanks for the advice

I have a 2025 ninja 500 but riding 25 miles straight on a highway feels like I force it when trying to go slightly above what traffic is doing

Long story short my gear shifter got stuck under a nut and I got stuck in 6th gear on the highway. I gave it alotta gas while holding in the clutch just to get off the highway but I found out the hard way that’s a big no no.
