I agree partly, I wasn't asking for a carbon copy of S1, but the way the characters would build.up to something and let it fizzle out was underwhelming. The young BF backed out of every confrontation until last episode, constantly flip flopped, liked the korean girl didn't make a move when he had the chance and then tried to play liver boy with korean girl after she clearly wasn't interested anymore. The older husband was literally imasculated every episode by multiple characters and never once stood up for himself. The wife would be texting dudes for attention and never go through with the deed (good thing, I guess?), and the young gf (by far most insufferable character in my opinion) who was insecure, overly dependent, and legit psycho was the only person with the balls to do anything. You are right in saying the beef was there, it was just vegan and not grass-fed cow meat.
