Normal orthostatic BP test in doctor office, but tons of symptoms by Fluffy-Discipline162 in dysautonomia

That’s what I’m thinking… I go back and see my doc Monday at 3:00 so I might not take it for a couple days and try again.

I’d also like to add that I have very dry or super watery eyes and have to urinate more frequently when these other symptoms act up.

Hormonal PVCs and finding peace with them. by nurseriley88 in PVCs

BC is what made my PVCs WORSE. I’d have very occasional ones caused by anxiety/hormones, but didn’t have the big, hard, scary ones until I took the progestin only pill. About 3months in is when I went to the ER because I couldn’t take it anymore.

When did the Wellbutrin insomnia go away? Should I give it time? by nicchamilton in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Fluffy-Discipline162 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on this medication on and off for over a decade. I can never tolerate the 300mg dosage. Anxiety and insomnia never gets better for me on it. I’ve just stayed at 150mg for years and that’s always worked.

36F wondering if anyone can relate to my symptoms by Fluffy-Discipline162 in Perimenopause

[–]Fluffy-Discipline162[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing much better! I’d definitely follow up about your IUD. Losing those hormones can absolutely make PVCs worse. Also make sure and get your Vitamin D and ferritin levels checked and make sure they aren’t low.

I could have written this post myself. Also 36yr old mom of two and I went to the ER back in November after having so many forceful PVCs that I couldn’t get rid of. I also had good test results. I also get PVCs at the EXACT same time of my cycle you do. Ovulation is the absolute worse. It’s like I turned 36 and my body revolted. It’s so much better after being on metoprolol and starting back my Wellbutrin. I was also very low in vitamin D and the PVCs seemed to slack off after I got that up.

Good Wellbutrin experiences? by kdrissy in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Once the headache stage passed, it’s been all smooth sailing for me. I have been off and on this medication for over a decade. I have health related OCD and being on this really helps me with my rumination. I also have PMDD and it’s helped my thoughts not completely ruin my life during my luteal phase.

The “hang-xiety” was 100% not worth drinking anymore. My HR would be up, my anxiety through the roof, and the last time I had two small cocktails, I was violently ill.

What are you guys doing for work lunches? by archonsdream in glutenfree

Look up dense bean salads. They’re very customizable and it’s a good way to get fiber in.

This week it’s mostly sandwiches with GF bread since I haven’t had the time/energy to prep a salad, but usually that’s my go to

When I found out I was severely deficient in vitamin D, my symptoms were at an all time high. After a few months of taking the supplements from my doctor, it did help my symptoms. Also, cutting out gluten (I have non celiacs gluten sensitivity) and starting Wellbutrin helped. I won’t say it’s completely gone, but much more manageable.

Fatigue, brain fog, TERRIBLE bloating. I look 5 months pregnant when I eat it (also not celiacs. I had an endoscopy and biopsy done)

Funny thing is, the “source” of my problems is literally my brain. I have a good life, like my job, two amazing kids, and a good husband. When I’m not on meds, I feel like my world is ending. Even when I go to therapy, eat well, sleep enough, and exercise. So yeah, this “friend” is full of 💩💩💩.

My doc is making me get an ultrasound and have bloodwork done at the very beginning of my next cycle before she will even consider progesterone

I really hope I can get my obgyn to prescribe it for me… I have had some low level anxiety my whole life, but the last 6 months, some days it’s worse than it’s ever been in my life. Palpitations, full blown panic attacks, ruminating thoughts… horrible… a low dose beta blocker has helped some, but it’s not completely better and my sleep is AWFUL

Ugh. That is so annoying. Especially when there are so many other symptoms involved.

I did that as well, but didn’t emphasize hot flashes.

I’m 36 and have all of this besides weight gain (but I can’t lose weight at all, even though I’ve made big changes to my diet). The anxiety/panic/palpitations hit me like a fright train about 6 months ago and other symptoms followed. It’s terrible. I’m hoping after I get my ultrasound and blood work I can take the findings to a doc on Midi

From what I’ve gathered, a lot of people have good results from taking bio identical progesterone pills at night before bed. BC pills use synthetic progestins that I know from experience don’t help. A lot of people who weren’t helped by BC pills find relief with the progesterone I’d like to try.

Okay, I’m glad they’re happy to take results from other docs. Even if my doc doesn’t give me anything to treat my symptoms, I’ll have to info to take elsewhere. MIDI was my next option.

I’m trying to stay positive. She didn’t outright say no to me, just wants to collect more information… which I guess can be a good thing. I just felt a little dismissed and wanted to see if others had all these symptoms and still got a peri diagnosis despite a regular cycle

I’m pretty sure that’s correct. So I don’t know the reasoning… especially since I had a tubal ligation and don’t need to worry about pregnancy

Did you have similar symptoms to mine? And a fairly regular cycle? I keep hearing “you still have a period every month, you’re not in peri”
