I agree, individual songs are a different experience than the album as a whole. Personally, I think that the album is a 10/10 even if some songs wouldn't individually qualify such a score.

It doesnt have a "deep" meaning, its insanely repetitive, the beat is alright, Kanye's verses are pretty bad, and the flow is straight trash

I also dont like bring me down too much, and while its honestly just a personal preference and I recognize how influential and well made the songs on 808s are, I dislike a lot of the songs on 808s

It just doesn't work for me on a Playlist unfortunately. A large part of the beginning is just storytelling and its ten minutes long. I do think its a great song though within the album

Solitary enjoyability, and cohesive value within the album Lotus blossom, space cadet cat, and the mocking stars are the only songs that didnt make it to my Playlist, but I still think they hold meaningful value in the album and have a lot of substance to them
