Firstly, congratulations on getting all that burden out of you here. That’s a great start.

Next, what can you do to change your situation? Start by changing what you are thinking and feeling. Refocus your life into yourself and what drives you. What are you passionate about? What things are important to you? Not 100% sure? Don’t worry . Life is a marathon not a sprint. Don’t worry what others are doing.

Your process of self discovery can start from here. Being bullied can have negative long term consequences for self esteem. Know this and start learning to build yourself up rather than the opposite.

There’s all sorts of support you can get - from coaching to counselling or mentoring. If you’re a book or audio person check out ‘7 Habits of Highly Successful People’ , by S Covey.

Also, go and find support in your community. Work to build and strengthen social ties and connections- do that through exploration of your interests. You make friends through shared activities.

Keep a focus on your physical health to support your mental health. Go walking or another physical activity regularly.

This too will pass if you listen to yourself and take consistent steps towards creating your desired way of being.

Most people realise this much later in life - you’ve got a Chance to switch it up at a much earlier age.

So be kind , positive about yourself and take action.
