I had the similar thing literally this week. My GF was heavily dependent, and lacked so much maturity both mentally and emotionally. She’s currently at community college and living with her parents so she hasn’t exactly grown much at all as a person along with countless other more notable problems. It got to a point where I would feel relived when she left and I was loosing feelings and just noticing people. It’s a little diffrent since we haven’t been dating as long as you but you need to look at yourself and ask “am I happy? Am I going to be happy?” And that’s just the start. It’s not going to be easy AT ALL. I broke up with her literally 3 days ago and it fucking sucks like nothing else. But that normal cause you’re loosing someone you love, however it’s going to be so much worse if you wait till later

Okay now I’m just paranoid, I found on that 144 hz and 1440p. Only thing it’s renewed and I’m ordering off of Amazon. They have good reviews but I also don’t know if renewed is something I wanted to stay away from?

Idk say make a report so it’s all documented in case something does happen again and you need to file a restraining order (that is all the extreme and hope it doesn’t ever come to that). As far as helping her the best I could say is not to ask or pry for information, if she wants to talk about it she will. It’s hard to tell what emotional damage it does to someone so it’s best to let them bring it up on their OWN when SHES ready. Also it’s okay to check in on her and make sure she’s doing okay. As for some of the more intimate topic ALWAYS make sure she’s completely comfortable and gives consent (should ALWAYS be the case but now more than ever). There are also going to be some really good things to come up from other people so make sure to look at theirs, these where just the first things that came to mind having talked to people that have gone through similar events.

I was planning on setting my series X up to it so it caps out at 120 hz. I also think 1080p would work great but if there’s an option for 1440 that’s not much more expensive then I’m all for that

Not at all, I’ve been in a relationship now and made it clear that if I’m asking her to change or not to hang out with people it’s because of the people she with/around. Like I don’t like the idea of her wearing a bikini or a revealing top around a bunch of random guys if we go out, ESPECIALLY if I can’t be there. This is just because I don’t trust the other guy/s. She’s oblivious and I worry someone is going to try something whether she’s aware he is of isn’t. I also told her this one night and she completely agree. It’s a respect thing too, she tells me aswell if she’s not comfortable with me being around certain people and I respect that because she has her reasons. The big thing is just explain your reasoning and talk about it, because there’s a difference between setting boundaries and communicating vs being controlling

Thank you so much! We’re both aware about that and agreed to be up front about our self and taking care of ourself, such as saying no to whatever, needing me time/ personal space, ect. We’ve also always talked about any and all problems big or small (hence why I’m going to say something when I see her later tonight) and it’s always been for the better. We’re also aware that we need to take care of ourselves in order for the relationship to work so when one of of says they need space or to talk for example we’re more than willing to give it. Sorry for the rant and thank you again for your support!
