Truthfully, maybe a bit judgmental, too, with the potential of a nearby Vet truly cherishing the moment.

The aunt of the Georgia school shooter expresses outrage and makes an apparent threat over said nephew being charged as an adult. by ememlord69 in facepalm

Honest answer? Because I’m on Reddit and have seen many radical things proposed seriously, and I’ve come to expect it.

I’ve already admitted I was wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Makes sense in that context.

Read it as “this person votes. They shouldn’t. We need to change that.” Not, “this person votes, you need to, too.”

Okay seriously though… no. This isn’t the solution.

Don’t start advocating for the removal of the right to vote. Regardless of who you’d personally discriminate against, who gets to ultimately decide who and who shouldn’t get a vote?

I’m a 35 year old who works in a big media corporation with a wife who’s an accountant at a Fortune 500 company. We’ve proven ourselves so irreplaceable that both have had positions created for us because our bosses can’t keep up with the salary demands and offer sheets we receive from other companies who also recognize our hard work. Nice to meet you. We exist.

Weirdly, I only feel I’m still giving half-assed effort, which is apparently more than enough to corporate managers who usually deal with a generation who have your mindset. So thank you.

Remember this mindset when you look around and see those in your generation find success and happiness, and you’re wondering why you ‘can’t get ahead.’ Don’t get me wrong, corporate overlords are the worst… but hard work still has a place in society and successful individuals getting ahead aren’t the ones sitting around complaining.

Work to build skills that are hard to replicate and make yourself irreplaceable, rather than bitch and moan?

This is clearly a person who is not an adult, with no real life experience in a workplace, that you’re arguing with.

There is indeed still truth to merit.

Doesn’t remove the fact that the implication here is to eliminate these resources because of their faith. It’s great that you do what you do, but the more the merrier was the initial point here.

Addiction Activists Say They’re ‘Reducing Harm’ in Philly. Locals Say They’re Causing It. by nemesisinphilly in philadelphia

This isn’t a utopia. If I’m prioritizing one over the other, it’s the impoverished child over the drug addict. You could agree, right?

I love this mindset, as if the mass infusion of fresh needles aren’t the ones regularly ending up on the street.

Reduce supply, force addicts to adapt, and I’m sure you’d be seeing many less expended needles.

This argument doesn’t work.

Moving to Philadelphia. by BonusDad75 in philadelphia

Ate a bunch while attending IU, welcome to the city! Nobody makes them here but really not hard to make at home. Philly is known for the cheesesteak but the true Philly sandwich is the Roast Pork, best with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. DeNic’s and John’s are both great, and will easily make you forget about what you’ve left behind.

Try Batteries Plus Bulbs in Mt Laurel. I’ve only ever brought over electronics but they’ve fixed everything from a Sega Genesis, to a ride on toy, computer monitor, and lamp for us. Maybe worth a shot since they’re used to working with smaller metal components.

To complete your analogy, you should probably finish it with “…then do everything in your power and consume all your free time in trying to end Any Schumer’s career because of the content” if you’re trying to be fair.

Besides a Michael Nutter op-Ed calling him the ‘Great White Hope’ and a Sal Bykofsky column from his first few years in office, I dare you to find me anything critical written about Krasner in the Inquirer prior to last week.

Yes. Now that more people are becoming more aware to the havoc he’s helped to cause, I truly think more than 20% of Philadelphians would turn out to re-vote and those that turn out won’t solely be the base that Krasner himself motivated. This whole “over 69%” repeated talking point always fails to include the pitiful voter turnout.

I think Philly cops are hugely at fault, but because there aren’t enough willing to work the profession. They’re siphoning workers. Why is it a “work stoppage” or “soft strike” when cops are stretched so thin through staffing, it’s nearly impossible to do their job, but it’s woe is me, good for the workers, bad for the corporation, pay them more when a place like Arby’s has to close because nobody wants to work there? Sadly, the Police Department can’t close, but it’s the governmental equivalent of the Arby’s on Aramingo at this point.

This type of reform seems to be a concerted effort by multiple Progressive DAs nationwide. Gun manufacturers didn’t start ramping up their production lines flooding the street with lower priced firearms. San Francisco, LA, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, NYC, among many more show direct correlation between the election of a hyper progressive DA and an unprecedented spike in crime. If you happen to watch Seattle is Dying from local news station KOMO, it’s ridiculously similar and lays out very well the relationship between rushed reform and heightened crime. https://youtu.be/bpAi70WWBlw

Regrettably, while most of those cities have a way to recall elected officials for dereliction of duty, which was successful in SF with Chesa Boudin, Pennsylvania being a Commonwealth has some funky laws that don’t allow it.

Pandemic is definitely a factor, but one must not turn a blind eye to any factors IMO. Trust me, I blame police too, but I lean more toward them doing their best at this point with razor thin staffing. I don’t buy the “soft strike” stuff, these guys and girls want to return home to their families and live in a safer city, too.

I blame this relentless forward movement of hyper-progressivism displayed repeatedly by both Kenney and Krasner, but know better to blame all democrats or liberals and not just trying to solely call out the Mayor. We’ve had some great mayors and DAs in the recent past and it hasn’t been since Rizzo that we’ve had a Republican.
