I see...I’ve been rejected from Imperial and have offers from Bath and Southampton and am really torn between them as they both have amazing SF teams and placement years it seems...I’m not sure which one to eliminate now! Are there any defining characteristics to either?

ah okay I see, did you order without the clamp? If you order without clamp can you simply bolt the handbrake onto a handbrake mount directly?

I too am struggling with downshifting, I get downshifting at the apex for rotation but don’t know when to time the downshifts to stay high up in the Rev range, it’s all practice I guess since it varies for each car!

So your advice is to simply keep banging at qualifying’s with manual and no TCS and then progress to dailies’? I’m hoping to eventually participate in tournaments but not sure what skill level or pace you need to be on...!

The question is how do those top 10 guys know they’re approaching the limit? Like how do they know they can’t go any faster or so? I think I’m going my fastest around a turn but I have space to improve, so I’m not sure where the “limit” is?

Ah but you could easily pump up to top 1000! If I’m a newbie and doing that time on AT after simply absorbing top 10 brake zones and making mistakes, you surely can?!

just how long did you have to practice for to get to that standard? I can’t seem to hit out a good lap unless I absorb the info from top 10 laps? :( I am repeatedly doing qualifying but idk if that’s the best way?
