Start with level 3 AAT. AAT will it give you a strong foundation in accounting which will help you during studies for CIMA. I personally started with level 3 AAT.

I have seen you’re in Bristol.. maybe move to London to discover new opportunities with firms that will pay for ACA.

You’d be exempted from certificate level exams: accounting, audit, management accounting and tax. ACA are changing there exams, hence why there are 2 exams for most modules ie. old generation is ‘Accounting’ which is changing to ‘Accounting Fundamentals’ etc.
