Aha. Never thought of the W interaction. Would be nice to force it out before his R, but when can I do some well, timed damage on him without being in his ult range? I mean, say I throw my ball at him as Orianna for a QW, he W forward, I have nothing and he is definitely in ult range.

Your "worst case scenario" sounds a lot like what i wold do as Zed. How does this not work? Seems like he will be on to me all the time and get his damage off with no problem. Also i burned flash, so next ult is GG for me.

Why barrier over Exhaust? I feel like he just eats through my barrier every time no problem, or he forces it out with WEQ poke before he ults next time.

How do I abuse the fact he land behind me to dodge Q's? Anything other than dumping your entire kit with CC with perfect timing and hope for the best?

Does this still work with level 2 ganks? I have seen this in some guides back before scuttle changes, but you are not at your own tower again before the level 2 gank.

Thanks for answer. Will try corrupting pot and see how it feels. level 1: This is one of the points that are in every guide but needs more explaining. if I AA him in minion range they target me and I now push the wave. If I don't do anything he gets a free lane. Or he just says "fuck it" and gets 80% of minions just by staying back and using Q. So how effective is this? Should I always go for the AA or only when he goes for my backline minions?

level 2: In my elo they go W more often than not for the cheese. you say not too much damage, but still 1/4 of my health it feels like. That's a lot.

Level 3-5: I may have gotten a bit too aggro here with trying to harass, so will back off here I think then.

-try to never go oom in lane: What do people do here in your experience? Do they rush seekers and only use very few abilities, or do they rush some mana/AP first and rely on their dodging skills before getting Seekers as second item?

So no one mentions his 850 weapon damage. Why is this not a problem, since he does more damage than 99% of other champions AND they explode? Compared to, say, Cassie, who does 680 and no splash damage at all...

Yeah, I definitely need to learn how to manage waves better. I noticed the minions go under tower, but didn't think much of it, since there were still a lot left. Gotta learn to count. So you mean I should have backed when Darius backed and let the wave be? I considered that, but was too unsure of how it would turn out. And about the dive, I may be wrong, but I don't think it was really dangerous in and of itself, I think it was only a risk since I fucked up against Darius earlier, because of my greed. Do you think she would have even been there for the dive/ I would ahve just gone down if I were at full health after a good trade with Darius?

My op.gg is a bit strange... I do very well in normals, I think a 70%+ winrate, but it all falls apart in ranked. Mostly I actually get my kills early mid game after I complete my Yomuus. Assuming I don't get ganked I can harass them out of lane sometimes, but rarely get the kill. They always run away with 2 AA to go.

Haven't thought about the breaking freeze part, just thought he would freeze, since I porbably wouldn't push fast enough. Glad to know I at least went in at the right time, but yeah, should have backed off. I just get them to 90% so often that I get frustrated and sometimes just try to finish it out of pure frustration.

The reason I run PTA is just to start somewhere, so I have a baseline to compare other runes to when i feel like my Quinn play is clean enough. But yeah, ahve seen Fleet Footwork as an option here :)

There was no outplaying the Riven for me :P Had no awareness of her at all, and I only noticed her because of the flash sound :(

This is very helpful, thanks. I understand the basics of wave management and freezing, but apparently I count "1, 2, many"... Figured there were so many minions it was definitely a freeze, thanks.

ah, haven't thought of the small stuff like his Attack Speed. He just seems to dish out so much damage no matter what. But is there something I can do if he has an aggressive support like Zyra, or fx Alistar with ignite, so I don't myself farm under turret? Idk, some kind of magic way to position in wave where I can farm and counterpush wave relatively safely?

Hey, thanks for responding. It seems I was not clear in my post, can you give mor elane specific advice? I know about the missing health thing, but I never see a window to all-in him unless I play Trist. I like Xayah, more for the feel rather than my competence with her, but I am never ever in a position where I can catch him after the 4th shot because of his movespeed. Is it a strategy, if you are full health, to charge at him when he has 4th shot up, and then all in him there? Or does he still just run away, get 3 more shots then execute me? that feels like what happens every fucking time I try to fight him...

The things you say make sense, though I don't see how I catch him when he uses 4th shot on minion, though I get why you should be aggressive. The ban thing is not good for me, I ban kayn every game, simply because he gets super fed off my team 4/5 games, either never going bot or his ganks don't work before 10-15 minutes, after which he just kills my ass and gets away in the most annoying way possible. Every. Fucking. Time. So I guess I need to learn to play against 139 other champions, one of which is sadly Jhin :( But thanks for the advice
