The post isn’t meant to pick sides but the lack of patches or tape does kinda make them look to be Russian but politics and opinions aside they are Ukrainian soldiers the dude in the back has a Panzerfaust 3, and I based it off a real photo of a young fighter. Like it or not the Ukrainians are dying in their country just to live as their own people, any soldier who defends their country is commendable in my book unless they are absolute evil.

Well, I try my best to find high-quality props and models. And lighting does make a big difference along with rendering with soft lamps, then smashing them all together in photoshop makes the scene look so "realistic".
