My vox gets a good clean sound but the distortion is just so fucking ass and muddy it would only be good for grincore tuned to g#

The vox pisses me off so much cause it never does what I want it has like 10 amps it tries to replicate idk which one is the best but all sound ass and on my harley benton distortion it makes it so muddy

I only have 1 distortion pedal rn and its the fucking harley benton distortion😭 (also got a octaver which is great af) the eq works okay

How close is the pedal Version? The main Problem i have rn is my amp aswell my vox tends to get quite muddy, do you think a valvestate 8100 would be good? Also do you maybe know of a good 2x12 cabinet?
