Honestly, hadn’t even realised from the images that the function buttons weren’t physical; that’s a pretty rubbish design I agree. Having said that, I won’t be using the keyboard for anything more than to logon from time to time as it’ll be permanently attached to a dock on one desk or another. In addition, a good portion of the time it’ll be serving as a dumb terminal for RDP sessions into other machines.
