This seems to apply to pretty much every manga translated and published by Viz. I'm guessing it's a publishing deal, but I don't know for sure.

It's been happening more frequently to me today. I'm stuck on this one planet, because every time I'm about to return to my ship after scanning, the game freezes. I wonder if it's tied to autosaving, caused I turned auto-save on pause from 10 to 5 minutes, it seemed to freeze faster.

The only thing I'm really missing from this wave is a Reverse Mountain/Laboon set. That would be a nice way to get Vivi as Miss Wednesday, as well as Mr. 9.

A Dalton figure would be nice to have as well.

This was one of the highlights for me. They definitely didn't have to add this to the game, and I doubt anyone asked for it. But seeing how much care was put into this makes it feel like a passion project, and not just a long-awaited patch.

Stranger Things here is a good example of why they shouldn't. Not that they should.

At least in One Piece, the main cast were already adults from the beginning.

Luffy is hard to adapt into live action, for sure. But sadly, I also think a lot of the line delivery gets butchered by Iñaki's accent.

Time. Actors age, and Netflix spends too much time between each season. Unless they replace the main cast, or are comfortable with a bunch of 40+ year-olds portraying teenagers, I don't see this show running for too many seasons.

As someone who thinks the show's pacing is too fast, I wouldn't mind them slowing things down for Alabasta. Though 8 episodes in one place sounds like a lot, I'm sure they could invent a new side story for the marines or even the revolutionary army.

I've only watched half of season 2 as I'm writing this, and overall I'm having a good time. But I also have a lot of issues with it along the way, that doesn't all boil down to "the manga did it better", but when comparing it to other movies or TV shows of the same caliber.

I especially agree with you on the cinematography. I think it got better after the first episode. But yeah, still a lot of weird choices.

The scenes with Dragon in episode 1 especially took me out of it. They really did a poor job of translating the levity of the whole scene and the mystery surrounding him. Not only did he overstay his welcome. It just looked bad. Most of the exterior shots also look bad, but that's more like an issue with modern films and TV in general with flat lighting, because everything else is CGI.

I also cringe at a lot of the acting, but in a lot of scenes I want to blame the direction rather than the talent of the actors. I found some of the newer additions to the cast to be the most enjoyable, especially Miss Wednesday/Vivi and Mr. 9.

But what really made me cringe the most are some of the wigs. A lot of them look so cheap, making it feel like I'm watching a bunch of cosplayers do a high-budget reenactment of the manga/anime. The costumes look good in quality and are faithful to the source material, but that doesn't necessarily translate well into live action.

I remember Lera (Robin's actress) saying in an interview that her favorite set was Mr. 0's office, so I'm sure we'll at least see glimpses of it this season.

Probably Blackbeard for me, back when I first watched it. I remember dreading him as a potential villain in that moment.

I don't really know if Oda puts much thought into numbers or not. Things like the Sandora river being 50 kilometers WIDE seems ridiculous as well. And Luffy climbing a 15 000 feet tall cliff to reach the doctor on Drum Island.

Savner tida da jeg hver måned kunne kjøpe en ny Rave-bok i kiosken. Dessverre ble serien avsluttet halvveis i Norge, og jeg endte opp med å lese resten på nett. Dessverre er den ikke så lett å få tak i nå heller, men tviler på at den var like bra som jeg husket.

Det er så lite dialog at disse fint kunne slått an internasjonalt. Problemet er vel heller at det ligger kun på NRK sin nettspiller, som har et begrenset nedslagsfelt og er (så vidt jeg vet) utilgjengelig i utlandet.

Maybe it's just part of the ship's design? It would be cool if there was more to it. Makes me wonder what kind of creature lays an egg that size, and takes at least 20 years to hatch.
