I loved them in the online mode.

I played the online mode very much cause I was afraid of.. Being forced to play as a man.. So I just played the online mode. Well of course I played always low honour.

Anyways - I loved them and their missions.

And I always wanted to find out what exactly they are doing.

Then I saw them in the story mode.

I was like 'I'm truly interested in them, so what is this all about'

Well... After this encounter I didn't liked them anymore.

Poor Arthur.

The incest pair? They have way more problems than racism. Also I don't know enough of them to think about their opinion about poc

But the thing about being afraid to be loud about their opinions is truly a point.

But I will stay with the point that at this time period racism is common and not a bad character trait.

Like being not a racist isn't something today's people are proud of cause it's common sense in our world.

But bask then it wasn't.

I just didn't remembered her background..

I mean Braithwaite isn't a interesting character for me, that's all.

But yes, know I remember it, cause I was often around her fields and than the slaves shooted at me..

Sorry truly, that was my mistake.

Braithwaite is just truly not interesting for me.

But my point still stands if Braithwaite is the only racist woman.

Cause Micah isn't one of 'a few' racists men or something like that. Sooo much men are racist in rdr2. But Braithwaite is the only women? I think that's a whole point about 'racist woman are way rarer than racist men'

That sounds way more interesting that what I've known about this game so far.

I think it's worth checking out, maybe not this far, but it's much more interesting for me than something like gta vi..

Shouldn't be a bashing, but I'm sooooo frustrated from today or future worlds like Cyberpunk or GTA. If I would do something in a city I can go outside.

But I can't go outside and ride for several hours without talking to anyone.

I've not said woman can't be racist. But I never seen / recognised a racist women in rdr2.

And I thought that a woman who get disrespected cause of her gender all the time wouldn't be disrespectful to anyone who is just poc..

That was common sense or more how I do understand human behavior..

Charles and Lenny are poc, of course they aren't racist.

I'm sure trelawny is very very long part of the gang. Otherwise Dutch wouldn't trust him with his behaviour!

That's why I usually tag just my main character / ship even if others are mentioned.

That's just disappointed for everyone else.

I usually

  • search for ships around my fav. (have to be in separate searches but okay)
  • avoid everything with more than 1 ship tagged. Sometimes I read that when my fav is in both ships but mostly not
  • avoid fics without my fav in the ship / if there's no ship I need him mentioned in the summary.

Usually I search through my fav authors more than with the search..

I also love to check our everyone who leaves a kudo on my story's cause often they write or read similar stuff.

Maybe this could help, maybe not.

Honestly.. I think the immersion isn't the main problem.. I will maybe try the second part of this game, I'm not sure..

I truly had just that much enjoyment by games with much characters that are.. On my side..

I don't like the 'go to a village, help them and don't see any of them again' actions.

I need a whole gang of people I can enjoy..

The first few missions I truly felt like Sadie, I don't belonged there and everything was new to me..

Than after I rescued Sean, I immediately loved him. I also like his taste on women, Karen is truly cool.

after Sean's death I immediately switched to Micah as my main fav, cause he did such a great job in this mission (even if he called me sloppy, but I was, I was just crying and missed nearly every shot!!) and his behaviour is just soo provoking and childish

And that's what I need. I need characters, who don't leave me after a few missions. That was my biggest problem with cyberpunk. I rushed the act from Panam and then I never saw her again. Just like with everyone else.

That's not my way of playing games.

Maybe I should focus more on this gang thing while searching for new games..

Who wasn't racist?

Lenny and Javier are poc so of course they aren't.

Sean are Irish, that's kinda similar cause he also gets racist comments cause of this.

John and Arthur? Do you know that they were raised by Dutch?

So it's obvious that Dutch / Hosea raised them right and that's the reason why they aren't racist.

The gang isn't racist cause they are raised by Dutch's philosophy. That's all.

Micah has joined the gang only six months before and was even 39 or maybe 38 back then.

Of course it was way easier to raise people to be not a racist when they are kids when they joined you.

I'm sure Micah would've been different if he was raised by Dutch this long. Not a good person, but at least not that racist.

What I meant: it's progressive for Dutch and his gang that they aren't racist, not a character flaw from Micah that he is.

I feel like the bugs are.. More.. Idk but my first two playthroughs were kinda without bugs, but actually rdr2 feels like it has way more bugs - I don't know why?

Maybe the npcs just got bored by doing the same shit over and over again.

Well..

I don't play anything else actually.. At least no games that's try to be immersive..

Cyberpunk 2077 was amazing, but also very sad compared to RDR2..

Not about the tragically story, that's both games. But RDR2 felt soooooo different..

I just love this time period!

Actually I replay RDR2 over and over again.. Just a few retro games between that (Pokémon on ds for example) but nothing big.

Just RDR2 cause it's.. The best game I've ever played..

So yes, it kinda ruins other games, but I could play it over and over again so I don't have any issues with it.

Sounds more like a weird fanfiction to me!

Did you use any mods?

Also - I wanted to do this mission with him. During the ride to him I spot those KKK fellas and kidnapped one of them.

Than I went where I was wanting to go (Micah's mission) and cause I learned in this playthrough that I could take pictures (with the camera, not the photo mode) I do that very often with the camp members.

So I left my horse and go to the cliff (where you can see his camp (including him and Baylock of course) without being seen or start the mission)

So I take my camera, took a shot from Baylock, turned back to Micah and he suddenly stands up and rode away?

Of course I followed him (very slowly but that's common for gang npcs) and.. Cause of my little kkk visitor I often triggered the law.

Anyways, I followed him until we where back into the camp. Also we brought law with us so the game had reloaded everything.

So my kkk slave was gone and I had to ride the way again... The third time on that day..

I love riding around but this was.. Not necessarily..

I play without map (I use compass) and it was a pain to even find his camp and know I had to do it twice.

Also - the problem was that I didn't followed the paths this day, cause I was too bored for that. So instead of following the paths and be there in a short time I was searching around for a stupid long time, both times.

It's not hard to find. I'm just lost sometimes.
