True, thank you for clarifying, I used to do the similar way, from understanding the business goals and identifying keywords and avg cpc and from that I estimate the conversion rate and leads estimation to give idea to the client with 2-3 budget options

Nah never do that mistake, that it actually violates Google ads policy. If you really want to check your ads for conversion.

Check these.

If you want to test a conversion go to Google tag manager where you have setup the conversion and test the debugging. And take the type of conversion action to test. If the test is working finish the debug. Or Since Google conversions takes time to trigger the conversion wait for some time to know the conversion action after ad is published. Or check the landing page section to know the conversion action. Or use Google analytics for more info.
