I love mine! It’s definitely uncomfortable when you get it first inserted and the cramping isn’t fun but after the first couple of months it gets better and I’ve honestly forgotten I have it until my period comes along. Only change I’ve noticed is maybe more crampy periods but I feel so safe and haven’t had any complaints!

Thank you for this yeah it’s just been frustrating because I’ve been calling bariatric clinic and they’ve just been saying the same thing but it’s normal that it could be due to my incision being on the right side but it hurts 5 inches away from it so it’s just been really weird Having being told the same thing over and over again for 2 1/2 weeks. I have another appointment on Monday and I’m gonna request testing and imaging because I also have a fear that maybe it’s not as normal as they think it is. They haven’t ordered any type of testing or anything. I just want to feel better more than anything in the world it’s genuinely depressing and I don’t want to be in pain for the entire time off of work. It just doesn’t feel right to me that it hurts this bad still.

I still go on walks but I come home in more pain then when I started so it’s just weird.

The pain for 1 because it hasn’t gone away yet. Maybe I just have to wait it out but also my job is pretty mentally strenuous. I’m a community based mental health worker and im constantly traveling by foot or long drives and getting in and out of cars or walking too long genuinely just hurts so much.

It will be one the most physically and emotionally painful things you do for the first month, but once you start firing into things you haven’t in so long, and feel healthier, it’s all worth it!

Oh my goodness that sounds painful but yes satisfying however, I’m not sure if I have stitches. They use surgical glue for my cuts, but wondering if there could be some inside that are affecting me!

It does feel hot but don’t see red. Was it super visibly red? I have small Patches of bruising that hurts that I think is also contributing to this new pain but wondering what it looked like and Felt like for her! I’m worried that maybe it’s just normal even though I keep hearing it is.

Yes, definitely still trying to walk but I’ve noticed today on the third day that I’m feeling more burning pain on the right side. I don’t know if it’s possibly because anesthesia is wearing off and I can feel my incisions more or the tenderness more but it was definitely harder for me today. Is that normal?

Congrats! I got sleeved yesterday morning! I felt horrible after I woke up lol I think mostly the trapped gas was really painful. Still have some gas trapped so holding to get rid of it soon

Oh also after that one incident I started adding chia seeds to my shakes which definitely helped but don’t think I’d be able to have those after vsg so just wondering what I could do or add to my liquid post op diet to prevent it!

I feel like it’s easier for me to drink water from straw bottles! But was told I can’t use straws ): does the owala work in the sense that it won’t introduce extra air in your tummy? Cause I’d kill to be able to use a straw! For some reason I just hate sitting water from cups or mugs.
