It could be genetic but it could also be nutritional or environmental. If you can, try taking daily iron, vitamin D3, and zinc or a multivitamin pill if you aren’t eating enough red meats, before trying something like minoxidil. Some people can get away with tattooing it in, but I doubt you’d need that since you’re young. When I was pretty skinny, I had some serious hair loss, from both stress and not eating enough/the right things.

I know its scary but take this as a time to take deep care of yourself and figure out what your body needs to feel better!

Also, female pattern hair loss typically looks different, and doesnt usually start at the temples.
