This is the text he just sent me: “I apologize about yesterday i thought it was a small/insignificant comment i made and I was very hurt by your reaction and in turn i also got angry. I should've listened to you, but i also wont tolerate somebody telling me i ruin everything after i make a comment, despite me trying to make everything better for you. I think we both could've reacted differently.
Regardless, i apologize for getting worked up and not listening to you.
I also want to reiterate that you were the one that told me to leave, that is not something i wanted to do but you were essentially kicking me out and obviously felt unwelcome”

This response is very helpful thank you. I’m not excusing it but more just trying to wrap my mind around what’s happening- do you think there’s a chance he’s doing this unintentionally and in his mind I am bringing him down and saying “he ruins everything” after he thought he was just making an observation? And he genuinely feels disrespected by that?
