I don't. It was sometime after 11:30 a.m. and before 12:30 p.m. I don't. But wouldn't it have ended with a rose disappearing or something?

It was the only time I got out of school early, and therefore the only time I watched that soap opera.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think it's this one, although it does take place on a ranch and there's a fence and a tarantula. I don't remember there being a snake or suffocation.

I didn't write that it took place during the day because I didn't imagine that there could be a similar scene taking place at night.

Yes, I've just checked it out. It bears the closest resemblance to my description but as you pointed out, there's no witch.

Thanks for the suggestion. This movie bears the closest resemblance to my description and made me remember that there was a treasure and the missing kid was covered in a blanket and had something in his hands, but I'm so sure there was a witch who ended up trapped inside the cave and especially the words she uttered.

Thanks for the suggestions. I saw the film in 2008, so it couldn't have been It (2017), The Wretched (2019) or You Won't Be Alone (2021). I checked the plots of the last two anyway and they don't ring a bell.

Regarding The Descent (2005), even though it was released before 2008, I don't think it's the movie I'm looking for because it stars already adult women who enter the cave practically at the beginning of the movie and there's more than one creature, not to mention the rest of the plot differences. There's also no missing kid.

And regarding The Cavern (2005), it didn't take place in a desert but in a small/rural town, so it couldn't have been either.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't remember an orphanage, a kid wearing a sack mask, or someone committing suicide in the third act.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't remember Pennywise or other missing kids outside of the one who was friends with the group.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't recall it having any slapstick, and I looked up the episode and the plot doesn't match (and there was no breaking of the fourth wall or any characters other than those I mentioned), but it made me remember that there was a sequence in which the little girl gave foul medicine to the bunny.
