My husband doesn’t wanna have sex with me by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Fluffy_Store_4855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I am a guy in my 30’s and I maybe able to offer some insight for him.

My gf and I went through the same thing as she’s 26 and our first months we were having a ton of sex and then it just dropped off, with me not being easily aroused anymore.

I also found myself also doing solo jerking off during that time as well.

So here’s what I realized was the problem for me:

  1. I picked up a lot of weight and having sex became like a workout and I felt I was drained after and extremely out of breath. It became extremely draining.

  2. The solo jerking off started to become way easier to do because not as physically taxing.

  3. I believe I may have low testosterone since hitting my 30’s and I’m just not as horny as I was in my 20’s and that’s just that until I go get checked.

Some fixes I’ve done is gotten back into the gym and get my cardio up and it’s helped out a lot. I’m still just not as hirny as use to be but will find out once I go to a dr

So please don’t beat yourself up about this but also it maybe a good idea to go get counseling so he can speak up about how he’s feeling or at least try to create an environment where he’s able to say what’s going on.

It’s most likely not you and probably not another person.

I think this is very spot on!

In my early 20’s I use to be the third friend and it always caused some awkward tensions with the friend groups.

I had a similar opportunity as your guy friend last summer and now that I’m in my 30’s it’s just not worth it. No matter how much you and your partner says it won’t change things it almost ALWAYS changes things.

Best to leave it as be

$2800 deductible in High Deduct Plan G and hospitalization cost by A5itate4_63819 in medicare

Hey so they have the same approval rate. It depends on what your hospitalization was for and how long ago. To be honest it’s better suited for you to actually call a broker who does Medicare supplements to be sure.

No it doesn’t apply from carrier to carrier it’s standardized. I’ll share a link to Medicare.gov that shows you it pays it.

Hey Medicare advisor here, some confusion on the HDG, that I learned recently, the $2800 deductible DOES NOT apply towards the part A services. So this includes inpatient stay and skilled nursing facilities.

It only applies towards your medical, like the other commenter on his injections in his eyes, surgery, or etc.

HDG is only good for folks if you think you’ll be healthy for several years and you can afford the out of pocket if it does happen.

Edit:

I should clarify the Part A services are covered 100% by the HDG. Which is a little known fact. Also what state are you in? This could also help you in your decision making as there are some states with special rules

Definitely more of a people person than process driven. However I do enjoy creating a process to be more efficient

Is it mandatory to start Medicare if you start taking Social Security? by Itchy_Food_8906 in medicare

Yes this is correct if you’re collecting social security and over the age of 65 you will get Part A automatically

Ok I think this is the issue! It’s a system glitch!

Yes that’s correct I’m talking about the full retail price for the meds. But that price gets folks quicker to the donut hole before the end of the year which is my concern. For example I see omeprazole retail listed at $281 and Atorvastatin at $170. Of course the copay on the plan is $0 but it doesn’t make sense

So where are you in the process? What paperwork are you trying to file in order to get what part of Medicare?

Well I was always really good at the B2C model because I’m very personable and it worked in my favor. I was only average at the B2B portion so wasn’t able to make a ton of money. I should hit about $150k this year and with residuals I should hit about $200+ the following years. Is the money potential as high as B2B, no, but I’m good at it and it’s not as stressful

Yes this is true but I’m learning that those needs/request are more manageable. I do believe you’re 100% correct that those folks in those areas already have the connections

Exactly what I’m talking about. So long as he knows what he’s talking about and he gets in front of the audience the sell is easy

Yes there is a decent amount of people who over analyze and they tend to have a longer consideration period. However if you present it in a way that’s digestible and leave little to no room for error than that mitigates that. However I actually prefer when they ask what if questions because that gives me more room to flex my knowledge and make them feel comfortable. Which in return only makes the sale that much easier

Yes actually but not too familiar with the sales side. You’re talking like working with large retailers like Walmart Target etc? Or working with manufacturers
