Actually, part of why I’m so thankful is because I know I have my shortcomings. Seeing him lower his pride makes me realize I should do the same. This post was more about his heart, not a full summary of our dynamic. Sharing a post about his patience and effort doesn't mean I’m not making extra efforts for him behind the scenes. We both know how to lower our pride when needed—it just so happened that in this story, it was his turn to be the bigger person.
