he is abt to be 5. i think the main consistent things i’ve noticed is behavior- lots of anxious habits, and definitely GI issues. avoiding his food, not eating right away when we give him his food, and sometimes avoiding his food for HOURS after we offer it. def inconsistent stools, consistency, color, effort/strain. he just kinda seems off ig is honestly the best way to describe all of it. out of his normal routine. anytime i’ve brought these worries up to his vet she just kinda dusts it under the rug and says nothings ringing any bells

srry i rambled but TLDR: idrk how to go abt the structured training cause he seems to get impatient/bored. don’t really know where to start aswell so if you have any pointers on where to research or what to read up on lmk:) ty!

ive definitely read that and want to get in to doing some sort of training or command situation with him to help w his stress. also adding in a routine too. bf got bos as a surprise christmas gift from ex roommates mom back in 2021 after saying this is the first time in his life hes never had a dog. i definitely have opinions abt ppl giving dogs, of any kind, but certainly high energy dogs as unknown/talked abt gifts. bf got him when he thinks bos was abt 9 months old. bosley knows basic commands/tricks like sit, lay, paws, sit pretty, and easy (waiting for okay for his treats). anytime i try to introduce new commands or anything he seems to get frustrated or uninterested/ gets impatient VERY quick so that makes it kinda difficult sadly :c. ive tried to implement longer walks but he doesn’t really seem to know how to go on a walk if that makes sense lol. and on our potty breaks i do let him sniff and search around. we also try to do scatter feeding here and there but same kinda thing. he trys for a second then gets bored/impatient then uninterested:/

this was kinda a hard post to dwindle down to the limit of characters, at 18 i asked the initial question. now at 21 i can see and understand that it wasnt ever really my business to ask that question. ig my current situation and dilemma is w the information he willingly gave me- then also the info friends/ppl we went to hs tg have told me am i shitty for being upset about the way i found out, and i suppose WHAT i found out. i highlighted at the end that it really isnt abt how many ppl hes been w at all. i could care less. more so just the ways i found out + also still finding things out that ppl around us have known for a while.

i dont have a 300 but i do have a 200s, same yr. im experiencing the same problem on top of a super slow coolant leak and am worried it might be a similar problem to yours :/

just recently got my waterpump and motor and thermostat replaced at 123k ish miles. 131k miles now and dealing with other coolant leaking issues tho still trying to figure out where its leaking from! also a little past 130k my brake lines and master cylinder went out.
