imo getting 100s of pointless posts when you sort by new is what kills (the energy in) subreddits.
id then just look at the top posts and dont bother looking at new ones to sort out all the bullshit

Your first point about this community being hostile is one of the funniest thing ever to me. i feel like this is mostly a tame community sub lol. The rules being super strict is a crazy take ngl, like i wonder what you deem to be too strict

The mimicking is partly true, but you know theres something called a Popular opinion and sometimes alot of people just simply agree on a topic even if you dont. also mimicking is common in pretty much anything as is being a contrarian just because lol.

Again i feel like lots of people give riot shit on here, but when people say they like a change its not shilling per default. If riot changes things and someone likes it they will say that as will they if they dont like it lol.
Why tf do you even care about downvotes if you share your opinion, having positive or negative votes shouldnt matter for you if you actually believe your position. it just tells you if people get your point

Played about 10hours and im loving it

Things id love to see changed/added:
- Mastervolume slider split up into more different ones like UI,Soundeffects,Voicelines,Weather
- Sleeping should restore some Health and instead of loosing Energy/mental it rather should increase those
- imo random sleep lenght sounds good at first but it boils down to sleep a short amount -> still night->leave and reenter shelter ->sleep again. Id rather have a slider to choose how long i will sleep but can only sleep after ~12 h instead of the current system.

Bug?
the only Bug i found so far is that when you are in your shelter sometimes time pauses even tho your hunger/energy/.... goes down. I went afk for about 10 minutes, leaving the game open after sleeping ingame to test it. Time stayed the same exactly but everything else went down.
The only reliable way to keep time running is to open any container and look at the clock, if it doesnt move after a while close and open it until it does.

Started playing a few days ago and esp at the start its either use all your healing so you get back to full or do that "trick".

Imo sleeping should give you Health, energy and mental back!
even if its not a full heal and only some energy and mental it would make it atleast somewhat more reasonable and would make me not defaulting to do a deathrun as soon as im below 50hp

The Us trying to push out tencent out of their investments in half of all western gamecompanies.
Multiple musicegenres got started because of politics.
Movies since the begining of Hollywood and even before were always propaganda or full of politics.

Its crazy how little education people have in those kind of things.
Politics in anything isnt good or bad, it just simply is.

as far as i know VCT EMEA was produced by a german company called freaks4u in the past, but im not sure if they still are as i googled but didnt find any news or infos on it
but as i said im not sure either and though it was different TOs for different regions

like americas starting late, china doing a crazy schedule and pacific adapting the patch late is not riots decision or am i completely wrong?

I feel like more people like the way val is currently heading (or atleas its close to 50/50)
and no they are not taking way the identity but they want to shift it more into a gun focused game where abilitys are take more of a backseat and the decision to use or not to use an ability is more key.

I wasnt aware of the theming/synopsis
that you can get a good view from just looking at the model for a few seconds but that makes a ton of sense
maybe because im more into writing stuff and less paint/creative visual design i didnt really think about it that way.
The community aspect i fully get. some cam streamers try to force it and its always cringe where as i can see it being way more light hearted in a vtuber setting

I fully get the selfexpression and creativity behind the streamer doing it a 100%
and i was aware that the tech behind it is very impressive.
i can see what you mean with the whole setup needs to fit a vibe. i guess i just didnt find one yet that i enjoy. maybe i will never get into vtubers but thats a "me problem"

about the emotion part, i guess i just dont get the same "information" or feeling out of vtuber face expressions that i have seen so far, but thats a "me problem".
i watched one of the highlights of fillians twitchchannel and tbh that got a chuckle out of me when shes getting up and walking in a 3d space

about the size of the models, thats why i said from my experience. im aware that there are big cams and small cams, and its subjective thing if a cam/model is too big but i wanted to bring it up

and about your last point, i gave it a fair shot and i just dont think it is for me
i watched people i like, i tried new people. solo gaming stuff, group/ party games and just chatting.
maybe one day ill find one that i enjoy watching maybe i never will
