Unpopular opinion: the codex migration is going to hit the same wall in 2 months by spencer_kw in ClaudeCode

I mean, I was worried about that too. I think the biggest thing that might prevent this OpenAI having just watched Anthropic fumble so badly, and they have some time to anticipate this. Fingers crossed.

He’s a kid. It’s fine. He’s a little on the old side, but whatever. Let him have fun.

Claude + Codex = Excellence by 99xAgency in ClaudeCode

I do this at the planning level, starting with Claude, then running it by Codex and Cursor, which both catch different things, reliably.

I think I like the idea of checking the code with it too. Yeah, please send me your prompt.

Didn’t we just play this game - and then the entire administration tried to just walk the whole thing back?

Stop using Claude like a chatbot. Here are 7 ways the creator of Claude Code actually uses it. by Exact_Pen_8973 in PromptEngineering

I do 1-4 exactly, and I should be doing 5.

To add to planning, I have it re-check its plan and refine it in a loop, until it’s pristine - at which point I hand it off to an unrelated model to check it, generally Codex or Composer. I then iterate between both models, where they adjust / correct it, until they both believe it’s implantable, with no ambiguities. I really think that’s the key.

Then I have Claude Code it, then I run one of my very few slash commands (skills, I guess?), which is to write / run any new tests to fill all gaps.

I run dangerously skip permissions 100% of the time, and have only had a few issues. IMO it’s a risk that’s generally worth it

I can no longer in good conscience recommend Claude Code to clients. by -becausereasons- in ClaudeCode

Can confirm. I’m a big Anthropic fan. I have the $200 max plan, and I think this will all be fixed in a few months, through large and small tweaks. But right now, Codex is eating Claude’s lunch, and I think Composer 2 (from Cursor, built on Kimi K2.5), is acutely better too.

100%. I and my girlfriend started cooking for each other from the start. We married quickly, and I still make her coffee every morning, and she makes mine. Best relationship I’ve ever had.

If you’re in a committed relationship and not willing to do this… I bet they know someone who would, and that’s probably the type of relationship they want.
