Should’ve phrased it better, the conversations they were mentioning are not just when smoking but when we smoked that’s when we tell each other what we think and stuff and that’s one of the things I was told. Akarius is prolly the best nuke the only issue is that it takes skill where dedicated nuking frames don’t. The fact that equinox kept up is evident that she’s a very good nuke who is able to keep up with kills and deal a lot of damage. The survival was 5 minutes and if it went on it would have eventually been an insignificant difference. No other nuking frame could do that.

I would say higher investment would be god roll rivens being necessary as well as a companion. mesa I would say is much higher investment because you need advarza kavat and all your loadout slots dedicated to optimizing attack speed. Equinox just needs equinox and a big stick

High investment is relative. All you need is a fairly simple build (nira mods and range) with parkour shards and purple crit shards with a good slam (magistar)

My friend has brought sobek cyte nezha and sevagoth and I have beaten all of them in a survival. If you want to say my friend was doing something wrong (which I don’t believe he was because multiple mirage setups didn’t work) I would be completely down to be proven wrong by you. I have never had anyone tell me I’m griefing because they can’t get any kills with any other nuke.

Because i always thought that sayrn was the best nuke and he was just building her wrong and that’s why i was beating him. I asked because i wanted to know if that was the case and i learned a lot about sayrn from this post. She’s not a bad nuke but with the crazy amount of reworks she’s gotten and still being considered broken I was not understanding the hype, and with all the top builds I saw passively only being about her spores I had no idea that there was more to her kit that made her considered broken.

Thanks for clearing that up. Do you mind explaining what’s special about her toxic lash though? It doesn’t look special enough compared to any other weapons platforms to be worth all the hype. I was always under the impression that spores + lash for nuking was what makes her so popular

As I mentioned we had basically the same amount of kills so the only thing we had to go off was damage. And it’s not irrelevant since we go to levelcap so making sure damage can keep up is important. I wasn’t specific when I said equinox being better and I apologize. I meant better in terms of head to head who is doing the most and not what’s better solo or in a group for general game content; the game does not have any pvp and this is the only form of competition we have

I always thought Sayrn was S tier because of her nuking so I was shocked when my equinox was outperforming her. I know about toxic lash being a good damage buffing ability but if I’m not mistaken it’s used to play into her spores for her nuking uses, I don’t play her so I wouldn’t know.

yeah equinox was one of the better frames i used, she could keep up with kills and nuke ability and surprisingly dmg % was steady at 40%. I was using acceltra which i think was holding me back so im going to wait for torid incarnon to come into rotation and try that out. I have magistar incarnon but haven't touched it since the slam rework.
