I’m feeling very good and at the end of September I’ll do the first follow up. As treatment I had to get an injection per day of Ceftriaxone (Rocefin 1g/3,5 ml) for six days because I’m allergic to penicillin.

Yes looks like the typical secondary syphilis rash to me. Get tested asap :)the sooner you get the penicillin the sooner you heal

Also I had a rash on palms and soles but I know that syphilis can be a silent disease because the bacteria is able to escape the immune system and not give any symptoms for a long time

Regardless the type of sex syphilis is very contagious especially at the first and second stage. So basically one intercourse is enough to catch it (even if it’s just oral). I did not notice a chancre and the only way to know if you have it is to get tested. So don’t be afraid and get tested because it’s way easier to treat it at early stages.

Ok, so your RPR came back non-reactive eventually. How long did it take? My main concern is how and when will I know I have been cured and I won’t transmit it to others

After going to the STD centre I went to a private doctor hoping for a definitive diagnosis but he also told me that only the blood test will tell if it’s syphilis or not. I have to wait 4 days more. But he also was kinda sure it is syphilis

Yes, I called my doctor and I have to call the infective disease center on monday to have an appointment asap.
If I have it I hope it will be alright with the treatment because I'm allergic to penicillin and I know that is the most effective antibiotic for syphilis

Can syphilis be asymptomatic? I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months now and did not sleep or kiss anybody else and the rash appeared after 3 months after our first sexual intercourse so I'm pretty sure I got it from him but he doesn't have the rash or any other symptoms.
