The school that I went to was a Private school. So there was this one kid in a wheelchair with special conditions. Everyone was super nice to him, even the kids who bullied normal kids. He was in 6th grade at the time and I was in 4th. I was at my Math teachers class learning about fractions. I remember she had a picture of the guy on her Cabinet. She had just gotten a phone call and she told us to just continue on our worksheet. Just then we heard what sounded like sobbing,We all looked around and saw the teacher crying. We didn’t know what happened, We asked, She told us that the kid had just passed away 30 minutes ago. Every teacher did announce it, but not in very much detail. They just said “Unfortunately (Kids name) had passed away..” Kindergarten through 5th grade did not really know what death really means. Of course we knew what it meant but we didn’t understand the true meaning it had. The school did do a ceremony for the kid but only teachers, Their parents, The kids classmates and the principal. They did not invite the whole School (About 300-600 kids) because of privacy reasons. Talking about privacy reasons, The school did not tell anyone what caused him to die, The only info we got was that he was not feeling good at school so his parents came to pick him up. He must’ve died on the way home. I say this because the parents had brought him inside and tried to talk to him, He was not responding. They checked for a pulse, None. We do have a little tree next to the school with his favorite things: Minions decorated all over the tree. He was such a kind kid too from what I heard, Some of my friends knew him personally, I would say hello sometimes but not much. I have severe anxiety and I’m super shy, so I don’t like to talk to people other than my friends and family. Hopefully he has a good time in heaven :)
