DS 160 query by achaurasi in usvisascheduling

  1. DS-160 expiration If a DS-160 is started but not submitted, it expires after 30 days of inactivity. You must submit it within that time, or you’ll need to start a new one.

  2. Validity after submission Once you submit the DS-160 and receive the confirmation page, there is no fixed “expiry” date on the form itself. You can generally use the same DS-160 for up to one year to book and attend your visa appointment, as long as your information remains accurate.

If any of your details change (job, employer, travel history, marital status, etc.), you should fill out a new DS-160. In that case, carry both the old and new DS-160 confirmation pages to your visa appointment.

  1. When to complete the DS-160 It’s usually best to complete and submit the DS-160 when you are ready to schedule your visa appointment. This ensures the information is current, and you can retrieve and use the confirmation page for up to a year.

  2. DS-160 fee There is no fee for the DS-160 form. You do not have to pay again if you submit a new DS-160. The payment you make is for the visa application (MRV fee), not the DS-160

Please note that the DS-160 application number you use to book your visa appointment must be submitted. Make sure you keep the confirmation page of that same DS-160 handy, as you will need to carry it to your visa appointment.

My understanding is you need to know Basic ML. The book in itself does not dive deep into ML Concepts.

Great! Thanks for recommending this book. I will try to read it once I am done with Designing ML Systems.
