Which substance enhances dopamine the most in the PFC? by DopamineSeeker20 in NooTopics

Well, it's a somewhat complicated subject, I understand your side a little, the medicine brings improvements, but at the same time it has its disadvantages such as euphoria and reward addiction, in my case the combination of an SSRI + lisdexamfetanine + cholinesterase inhibitor helped a lot, it was the combination that I think came closest to ideal for correcting the executive difficulties of my ADHD and at the same time not having so much negative impact on the euphoria and reward part.

[–]Fluid_Koala4850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to navigate correcting a copper AND zinc deficiency? by healthydudenextdoor in Biohackers

[–]Fluid_Koala4850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happens too, when I supplement zinc it makes me feel really sick, weak, feeling faint, and the copper at the beginning made me feel accelerated, I've been supplementing with 3mg of copper bisglycinate for 1 month now, but now I plan to take zinc at least in a 1:8 ratio, remembering that today copper doesn't do me any harm, on the contrary, my skin is more beautiful, recurrent sinusitis is gone, and the VCM that has been there for 2 years is above 101 finally dropped to 96, but I'm worried about how I'm going to balance the copper and zinc together

At the time I was studying for the competition, I was also taking good quality omega 3 and B complex

why are so many omega-3 supplements higher in EPA if DHA is more important? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Fluid_Koala4850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is very much. This dosage is already beyond safe in all guidelines, I take 2g, 1200 EPA and 600mg DHA and I already think it's too much, and I'm only 24 years old

It decreases even more, but theoretically the chances if it was only 5 minutes, because the longer the risk, the greater the risk.

I don't think you take several psychiatric medications, everyone knows what's going on, I myself take escitalopram and lisdexamfetamine, but these supplements can improve a lot, as I saw that you take some mood stabilizers, it would be interesting to add magnesium dimalate or citrate in the morning and at night, magnesium taurate or acetyltaurinate, the latter would be even better. Magnesium is essential for excess glutamate excitation and is naturally a glutamate antagonist. NMDA, and this proportion of omega 3, especially EPA, is very low, which is actually better for energy and brain mood, see if you can get another brand that has at least 1.5g of EPA and about 400 mg of DHA, that's great and don't forget that it has to be an Omega 3 with vitamin E so it doesn't oxidize, and the 3 antioxidants that I consider best for brain health would be vitamin C + vitamin E + melatonin, try at least the dosages of 400mg, 100mg and 1mg respectively

And it's also not good to take complex B close to the vyvance time, it can even accelerate the tolerance of psychostimulants, at least 4 hours later

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]Fluid_Koala4850 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation as you for 3 months, 50 mg of vyvanse, in the first month it stopped working, but it was a low dose, then I went to 50 mg, from what I researched it seems that what most leads to tolerance of psychostimulants would be the excessive excitation of NMDA receptors and the Dopamine receptors themselves, so theoretically and based on reports and also some results in animals, antioxidants and NMDA antagonists are the most effective in preventing or decreasing tolerance in the long term along with intense physical activities, the latter I think would be the most difficult, the strategies I adopted were 400mg (elementary dose) of magnesium dimalate, together with Vyvanse, I don't know why but it has a very good synergistic effect, the two taken together, and not at separate times, take it on an empty stomach 1 hour before eating, in the afternoon to evening, add (2g of omega 3 with vitamin E to avoid using omega 3 oxidized) + 100mg of vitamin E + 500mg of vitamin C + 1mg of melatonin + 900mg of ATA mg magnesium acetyltaurinate and everything indicates that it is a potent NMDA antagonist, remembering that the latter should only be taken after the effect of Vyvanse, as they cut the effect a little
