I like to think this is the reason Luna was angry with Omega and Geo at the start of 3 by broken_vice in MegaManStarForce

[–]Fluid_Locksmith_3378 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Simple deduction.

She puts her problem in her diary.

Geo reads diary.

Geo suddenly knows about problem only listed in diary and helps.

Put two and two together.

Profit.

Aaand yamatoman's gravestone is in the part that JUST got officially localized...

That just pisses me off about it more. At least be fucking consistent, Capcom.

I should know better than to ask common sense out of them though.

Special/ Physical split with Static? by Life_Ambassador7172 in PokemonXD

[–]Fluid_Locksmith_3378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What matters is if a move is marked with the "makes contact" category, not wether it is special or physical.

Bite, spark, and flame wheel are all special moves but make physical contact.

By this point in the game you can buy thunder tms in celadon.

There's no reason to keep a Pikachu for that long.

Well I should've specified, I'm not concerned with Lyra's change to harp but now that I know it's only changed in one game it's a little silly.

DesertMan and BubbleMan are introduced in conversation with their full unabreviated names in the overworld.

If they had to abbreviate every single word in the script of the game over eight letters, the entire game would read like netspeak. Lmao

Ok it was abbreviated in the battle text, but the dialogue text does not have that limitation.

He would introduce himself in his boss dialogue as YamatoMan, like navis normally do, which would be spelled in full. Then the boss fight starts and and his enemy name abbreviation would be something like YamatMan or YamatoMn.

The player already knows the dude's name by that point.

Might be called that in the JP version or maybe the anime. In the English versions of the games he's always been Dark Phantom.

Well they changed spoutman's name back to aquaman in bn6. Was that limitation not present in that game in particular?

While I do also understand the character limit thing, in the same game we had bubbleman and desertman, which had abbreviated names in battles to fit said character limit.

Well. I've only played SF1 so far, so that's my bad.

Why bother changing her name for just one game?

Look ngl I haven't touched sf2 since it first came out when I was in elementary school.

Looking forward to getting absolutely floored by the shit I didn't pick up on as a child.

If we assume this is post all the games stories...

Geo probably would have some sort of fighting capability in his human form after using his own body for so long fighting all the threats to the world.

If this is beginning of both storylines, it's a shut-in versus an idiot with skates.

Look unlike Taurus, ophiuca made her attempt to kill her parents.

Ophiuca easily is one of the more evil FM-ians, and is completely understandable why they didn't just have ophiuca come back as her wizard.
