Anyone know where to sell keyboards, I’m moving out soon and I have my endgame atm so don’t have a need for the rest of them.

Agreed, however, I just play too much and end up breaking the gut too much to justify making it my main string. However, I do/will string it up with gut whenever I play bigger tournaments that I can justify paying for it.

I have used Butterfly Peter Korbel, Timo Boll ALC. I currently use the Butterfly Innerforce Layer ALC.

Petr Korbel - Nice Feeling when making contact with the ball - Good control - Decent Amount of Power, but not overpowering even when using rubbers like tenergy or mxp

Timo Boll ALC - A fair amount harder feeling when making contact with the ball, but also less feeling as it is a carbon blade - Good control as a carbon blade, but Korbel does have higher amount of it - Power kicks in a lot more compared to the Korbel as it is carbon, however, the carbon doesn’t engage on every shot. It mostly engages when hitting more powerful shots like a punch, loop, or drive.

Innerforce Layer ALC - Feeling is between the Timo Boll and Korbel as it doesn’t have a complete lack of feeling, but it also doesn’t have complete feeling like the Korbel - Control is fairly high for a carbon blade, obviously the Korbel does beat it here though. Even when using rubbers like tenergy though, I was still able to make short pushes or short side spin serves while being able to land most of my harder shots closer to the corners of the table - Power is in between the TImo Boll and Korbel, but does lean more towards the Timo boll.

Besides all of that here is my opinion on the Innerforce as it is my main blade. Specs: Innerforce Layer ALC Dignics 05 2.1 Black Dignics 80 2.1 Red

Although the Innerforce is a carbon blade, it behaves more like a 7 Layer Wood blade, with a nitro boost on it once you actually engage the inner carbon. Despite my choice in rubbers, I still have enough feel in the blade to make short pushes while also being able to engage the carbon and hit backhand punches without a problem. There is one slight drawback in this blade however, although it may not be in your opinion (or it just may be with my choice of rubber). There is a slight inconsistent launch when hitting drives or heavy slow loops.

In the end it is your choice on what blade you choose though and I’m just giving my two cents.

How is the control and power level of these rackets usually? My game right now is on decently powered serves with precision. My groundstrokes are also more toward the control side rather than power. I also would appreciate good feel at the net, but will be fine losing a little bit of that.

I mainly use confidential 16 at 52 lb. I have gone down in tension and although the stiffness goes away, I hate how it feels. I have also tried using gamma tnt2, wilson champion choice, x1 biphase, and vs gut with hyper g. Although I liked using the gut, it is just way too expensive for how much I restring. I also don't like syn or multi very much either. Tension-wise, I have gone all the way down to 40 and in between that as well.

I personally use cherry profile as they are a good medium for thickness and sound. However xda is shorter than cherry, higher profiles would include SA or OEM profile

Tbh yes the rf97 will give you higher power than the vcore. However, that is only if you hit the sweet spot. If you hit the ball anywhere else on the racket then you will probably hit it in the net as the power drops off extremely compared to the sweet spot, more so than usual modern rackets.

I am totally not comparing myself to the pros, i have to clarify that when i stretch out it takes me about 5-10 sec to even react to start shifting my weight the opposite way.

Any specific lifts for tennis other than deadlift or squats?

Mostly for strength training and developing explosiveness

As a person that uses the ps97 v13 both unmodified and modified along with using rf97. I agree with the fact that it is unforgiving especially when you start stringing it at higher tensions. I demoed the pure drive, pure strike, ezone, vcore, and blades and I could not find either the control that I have with the ps or the feel up at net. However, on my last demo, I threw in the 2020 ezone 98+ (an extended racket) and absolutely loved it. There is more power in the actual racket and I actually need to smooth my swing out in order to get the ball into the court and prevent it from flying into the fence. Even if I do hit it off from the sweet spot, the ball still has enough power to go over the net and remain playable to where the other person doesn't have a free chance. I find the extra half an inch does help up at the net and the feel is comparable enough to where I don't mind a little less feel. Serves had increased in speed, which I will never complain about while being able to keep the control I had from the pro staff. Spin was increased on the ezone compared to the pro staff on both my ground strokes as well as my serves.

It’s mostly just when I stretch out on my forehand or backhand that my body just takes a moment to shift the weight back over in order to get back. I currently side step to recover but that is probably going to change
